Wasnt the point of F1 restrictions was to push for advancements in vehicle tech and specs.
Not really. It was more to do with the greatest racer of all time being killed on the track. They're determined to make an inherently dangerous sport "safer".
There's a lot more excitement in the Aussie V8 Supercars races than on F1 races. [hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAFRS5r2g8E[/hd]
18days until the Bathurst 1000.
18days until the Bathurst 1000.
You bet your ass I will be streaming that shit. :q: [editline]17th September 2016[/editline] Also, this is Formula One. [hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eafjQDr22kU[/hd]
Like most competitive sport funding has the biggest effect on results, if all the teams had the same budget it would become more competitive, in any case ppv will be the final nail in the F1 coffin.
Can we finally get active independent suspensions? I'd like to see cars doing mach 7 around corners. While your at it, bring back a real intro riff instead of whatever that baby shit they've got going right now is.
Last time I watched F1 the winners were basically those with fastest pit crews.
An all Electric F1, I would watch that.
An all Electric F1, I would watch that.
Not good. It would be like watching a racing competition and pressing "mute" on the TV controller.
An all Electric F1, I would watch that.
Already exists, look up Formula E.
An all Electric F1, I would watch that.
Why?
You bet your ass I will be streaming that shit. :q: [editline]17th September 2016[/editline] Also, this is Formula One. [hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eafjQDr22kU[/hd]
As a racing driver myself, this gave me some insane goosebumps :v:
Not good. It would be like watching a racing competition and pressing "mute" on the TV controller.
It's not that bad. Their electric motors still make alright sounds, and you can hear the whines of their gearboxes.
As a racing driver myself, this gave me some insane goosebumps :v:
That video gets me every fucking time. So amazing. Where can we see you racing? First Dutch F1 world champion WHEN? :v:
An all Electric F1, I would watch that.
It's called Formula E. Why don't you watch that?
Why not turn F1 into Wacky Races instead? Now THATS worth a watch.
Why not turn F1 into Wacky Races instead? Now THATS worth a watch.
The world isn't ready for Wacky Races yet.
The whole idea of the increasing amount of regulations for F1 was that it was going to cause more teams, engines and other parts to be involved in the races, and its done exactly that. There has been an expansion in the number of constructors as a result of the limiting of the engines as they are cheaper. It's really either madness on wheels, or more teams - it's a tough decision with no easy answer in my opinion.
Already exists, look up Formula E.
I mean I literally googled "Forumla E" and it looked more exciting than F1 from the minute of footage I clicked through.
Sears Point was the one I had in mind, but I totally forgot that now there are more than those 2 race courses!
It's called Sonoma now, and the Cup series still only has the 2 road course races it's had for the past 20 years. 2/36 is not enough.
It's called Sonoma now, and the Cup series still only has the 2 road course races it's had for the past 20 years. 2/36 is not enough.
I'd like to see the cup boys and the F1 boys swap tracks at some point. Exchange, say, Pocono or one of those droll mile-and-a-half ovals with an infield road course for, say, Spa.
That video gets me every fucking time. So amazing. Where can we see you racing? First Dutch F1 world champion WHEN? :v:
Whenever Mercedes quits or becomes shit, or RBR becomes even better. Verstappen and all. If he doesn't get demoted lol

Just some quick googling around, shows that he kicked butt in Sonoma '07 [hd]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0Av1lGbjr0[/hd]
Mercedes team orders this week, let Rosberg win it makes the season more dramatic?
