Ok then, some molecules suddenly expand creating all life from some random "Big Bang".
I agree, saying a Diety made the world doesn't make much sense, but neither does saying some explosion did it.
As I said, personal ideas dictate which of those ways you believe.
The Big Bang can't really be compared to an explosion, since you know, those don't fucking create time and space. Molecules didn't, energy did, then formed into hydrogen gas clouds which formed into stars when there was enough mass, which by process of fusion produced heavier elements. These elements then would react to form molecules. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
So time and space was created by hydrogen gas clouds?
cool story bro

At the time of the big bang, time and space didn't exist as everything in the universe was in a singularity. When this expanded, all the energy was released out in what we now call the Big Bang. You can easily look more into this using the fucking internet.
You can attack a political opponent by saying he believes in evolution. What a marvelous race we are.

You're making decisions about how the universe works, not based on evidence, but based on "what makes sense". 100 years ago you would have said that it doesn't make sense for people to be able to fly. You're just an irrational person.

You don't know what you're talking about either.
For one thing, nothing can prove and no one has proven a "Big Bang" ever happened.
Let me clue you in, ok? No one fucking knows how existence was formed, not creationists, not evolutionists, NO ONE.
Secondly, it doesn't make sense that time, space, reality, and the laws of it were created by some little energy burst.
Every thread involving religion, atheism, or evolution on FP should automatically change its title to "Religion vs. Atheism Flame War".
It only happens when you post in them.

So I should not speak my opinion in order to avoid offending people?
Oh wait, isn't that that one idea? You know, that one unfair cenorship belief! Er...what was it...uh...oh yeah! Political correctness?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, and don't understand it, then how the fuck can you argue about it?
We know the big bang happened because of background radiation.
I'm sorry that it doesn't make sense to you.

If you knew the first thing about science you'd know not intuitive =/= not true.

He never said you shouldn't. He pointed out that it was only when you post, nothing more.

Do me a favor. Study carefully the way Newton's theory gave rise to the Big Bang theory, and how Einstein's theory of relativity changed it. Read Stephen Hawking's "The Universe in a Nutshell". And then tell me honestly that the idea of a god is less absurd.
We thought the world was flat because of all this evidence surrounding it was true.
We thought the earth was the center of our galaxy because of all this evidence we had.
We thought the world would end in 1900 because of all this evidence we had.
We thought maggots generated from meat because of all this evidence we had.

Actually we thought all of those things because we didn't have enough evidence.

I don't see how science disproves God at all.
Who's to say some Diety didn't enact the creation of the world, through evolution, the "Big Bang", or otherwise?

Wait, wait wait. We thought the world was flat, the earth was the centre of the universe, and that the world would end in 1900 not because of scientific evidence, but because the church said so. Anyone who disagreed was incarcerated. See: History.
Those beliefs only started from "massive amounts of evidence" we supposedly had.

There was no evidence of these things.
Most of those actually came from Religion.

It doesn't. But the fucking point is that it doesn't have to. Specifically, we don't fucking know why, and filling in every blank with god, because it's inconvenient to admit you don't know, isn't forward progress.
Those beliefs only started from "massive amounts of evidence" we supposedly had.
I give up. No point arguing if you aren't even going to try and verify my arguments. You're just a kid anyway.

This is my point exactly, and I believe you've finally hit the poit I've been trying to get to, but myself was too stupid to even say it.
The universe was made through evolution, yes, but we don't know how it happened, and how that effect happened either. It could be a Diety, it could be random chance, we don't know.
It's completely illogical to state science disproves God, but likewise it's complete illogical to say it proves God.
Those beliefs only started from "massive amounts of evidence" we supposedly had.
Okay, and? As we gathered more evidence, we saw that it was wrong, and thus we changed theories. That's fucking science, it's not always right, but it sure as hell is better then any fucking religion.

Yes, the universe was made from evolution.
Evolution - 3. Biology . change in the gene pool of a population from generation to generation by such processes as mutation, natural selection, and genetic drift.
Wait. That doesn't seem quite right.

Heres the thing though, theres no evidence what so ever to suggest it was a god. While your definition of "random" chance isn't really random as everything reacts the same way in the same conditions, thus it's a product of small physical laws acting en mass.
I strongly disagree with that, all that was was a repeat of what typicaly atheists (that I've seen) say on FP. I'm religious, not atheist.
And i've seen many a religious person state atheists are heretics and deny god's will.
But hey it's our choice to not believe in a creator, we just don't have an inferiority complex.

Okay, think of this.
God is superior to us, so let's say as we are inferior we will take it that nothing can be created equal to ar better than its creator
God > humans > than machines
If we follow this train of thought surely there must be a creator for god, and a creator for his creator.

Leaving a bucket of meat outside and finding it the next day filled with maggots was not a scientific experiment, there was no control.
And frankly fucking retarded.
Seriously who puts good meat to waste.

oh and it's spelled Deity you fool, unless you're saying that Jenny Craig is god :downs:
