Will buy the Gold Edition if I actually get it in a box.

Yeah, they said on their forums that the female character will be exclusive to the retail edition, no other way to get it. A lot of people are unhappy about it.

It says it's going to be available in Europe from these Iceberg guys, and in North America from the Tripwire web store, but what about Australian fans like me? Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed that the new character's exclusive to the gold edition, but I can deal with it. I wonder what kind of female characters they'll come up with for future dlc packs.

A lot of fans have been dying for a female character forever, and making it exclusive seems like a slap to the face. Though from what I was reading, it sounds like redeeming the Gold Edition on Steam will let you redeem whatever DLC you don't already own and be able to gift the rest of it away. If so, I will possibly get the Gold Edition and give the rest of the DLC away.

They said they'll be bringing more character dlc.

Goddamn if the game is selling so well how about making real new content? Maybe a new ZED, expand game mechanics or a new game mode?

Heh, wish Lauren Cohan would do the voice of this new character, her accent is perfect. Also well worth, Killing Floor is a great game.

Its just that the only way to get the female character is by buying the gold edition.

Probably the best MULTIPLAYER Survival I've played. Though this title may pass on to Orcs Must Die 2, god damn I've had to much fun playing Killing Floor with one of my friend, we used to use that Mutator to add fake players to raise the number of Zeds and we'd put on very hard, good times.

I'd play this game a lot more if the ingame server browser wasn't so crappy.
