THQ will be out of business in a couple weeks. Koch Media owns Saints Row & Metro, Crytek owns Home

Now Artyom will join the neo-nazis in the metro instead of fighting them.
On a more serious note:
I hope that won't make the game stupidly politically correct. Metro 2033 is one of my favourite games.
Quite mixed feelings about Koch Media, if they pull a god damn Dead Island I am going to cry, but I guess they can only change the direction of the game so much by now.
It would have been quite interesting to see what Ubisoft could've done with Metro, not sure it would be for the better though, could see it go both ways.
We'll see how it goes, it's better than Metro: Last Light being cancelled I suppose, and who knows, maybe Koch Media will turn out to be great, they're "just" the publisher after all.
So I am to assume the Saints are in good hands?
What has Koch Media done? Please tell me they're in good hands.

I don't think 4A will listen to Koch Media if they want too drastic changes.
What are they going to do with the WWE games? Or is it still undecided?
If it goes to EA I will flip my shit
I am 99% sure it will either go to EA Sports or 2k, seeing as they are the biggest sport game makers at the moment.

Anything is better then EA getting the rights to these games
Oh I fucking loved Risen. Could've been better but I have my hopes up.
http://www.kochmedia.com/games/brands.html
They also carry out the actual manufacturing and distribution of a lot of games.
Deep Silver made Dead Island, so I'm okay with this
OH THANKS GOODNESS! My baby CoH2 is safe.
Guys just be happy that everything has gone to publishers that want to release more games in these franchises and not just sit on them for years doing nothing
I wonder what Crytek will do with Homefront
Isn't Koch Media, Deep Silver?
Hopefully Sega will let Relic do their thing like with Creative Assembly.
That would be pretty awesome.
I wonder what Crytek will do with Homefront
Preferably make Homefront 2 not like Homefront 1.
Seems a lot better than it could have been, I really hope Vigil find someone to buy them they are a really talented studio and I would hate to see them disappear.
On another note I though 4A Games owned the Metro IP was I wrong is is it just a publishing deal with Koch?
Homefront, really Crytek? It was a blatant Codkiller attempt that fell short of everything. Why would you even bother with another shooter?
Can't say I'm happy about Koch and Metro either, considering Dead Island and Risen. Can't say I've heard anything decent about their other titles either, it all seems like a big pudding of meh.

We Homeworld now.
Ahahaha.
You do realize they now got Relic, the Warhammer 40k guys, and Creative Assembly, the Warhammer Fantasy guys, right? Sounds like years of more warhammering and, if DoW2's progression is any indicator, a move away from old-fashioned management-heavy strategy games.
But hey, no EA. Worst case scenario averted!
Isn't Koch Media, Deep Silver?
They are indeed. Incoming Dark one bikini statue.
Crytek agreed to purchase Homefront
Holy shit.
Homefront generally was an interesting idea with really shitty developing, this might get interesting. Generally, it's a shame that THQ bit the dust, but what comes of it is keeping me engaged to say the least.
Sad days ahead.
All I want to know is who gets the Homeworld IP?
So long as Koch Media doesn't censor Last Light because of war guilt.
Deep Silver made Dead Island, so I'm okay with this
No they didn't? They only published it.
All I want to know is who gets the Homeworld IP?
afaik it was tied to Relic, but with the two Warhammer licenses still going I severely doubt SEGA is going to let them do it.
Tho I do look forward to the second Sonic racing game that will include CHAOS SPACE HEDGEHOG MAREEEHNS
There goes my hopes in buying the game.
That doesn't make sense. Ubisoft have done a good job at redeeming themselves quite a bit. Far Cry 3 works great and Uplay is far from hindering my experience. I find it rather neat to be able to spend achievement points on ingame content. (Nothing major, just a slightly fancier gun for singleplayer and a mission but still)
Origin has caused me plenty of grief but I have yet to have any issues with Uplay.
I've never had any issues with Ubisoft's uplay either.
My only ubisoft issue was how bad From Dust was, but that's it.
Since Koch bought Volition does that mean they own Red Faction now?
Koch Media just seems like one of those "eh" publishers you've never heard of.
They have some good games under their belt I s'pose.
I'm gonna be the first to say this;
At least it's not EA.
