Some states have it higher or lower.

I'm now imagining what the fuck police would do if they were chasing some who knew how drive a Formula 1 car; in a formula 1 car. Wing dick included

In fact, the Ford F-Series has been the best-selling vehicle in the United States for 32 years.

Hicks can't afford an F350.

F350s are for, like, actual work pretty much. The mileage is too terrible for "hicks".
And the F series aren't just for hicks, they make pretty good fleet vehicles because of their price.

In my area it's "Permit at 15.5, license at 16, parents have total responsiblity for all aspects of driver's ed". The road test is a bit silly, too, mine was literally pottering around a suburb.
Color it miraculous the roads in my area aren't unsafe.

They need do little more than follow the trail of carbon fiber. I highly doubt an F1 car, even set up as high off the ground as it could be, would make more than five or ten miles on public US streets before losing some very important components. I know they'd lose a wheel pretty quick in some parts of Nashville and Lebanon, and if they tried to clear the train tracks outside of my old high school they'd rip the undertray off and spin it into the 4" high concrete curbs. RIP F1 car.
What would be a challenge for police would be a WRC car. Those things can take a MASSIVE pounding and continue to give absolutely no fucks, they care not what the terrain beneath them is, and IMO the drivers are even more skilled than those in F1. Especially at handling a car that's not behaving itself. I doubt the PDs could keep up with a professional WRC driver in their usual WRC car.
