Wow that sucks. If the economy goes the way it been going, then it's going to be even worse. I went to the Zoo a few days ago, not this one mind you, but it was free aside from a subway and bus ticket. A lot of fun for so little money... really sucks.
You don't find cool stuff that's cheap to do like that anymore.

I'm sure the zoos they are shipping too would gladly pay the costs. Animals are expensive and rare, if they get them at a discount legally than that's just gravy

Just set them free in the woods, sure there may be a few lion attacks in the news but hey it'd keep people on there toes.

I don't know why you people are flipping the fuck out about them [B]having[/B] to euthanize these animals. It doesn't hurt them, and it's sure as hell a better way to go than starving to death because the zoo can't afford to feed them.
I'm sick of people considering anyone who wants to stop an animal from living 'Evil'. This is the best alternative right now, and they aren't being cruel about it in any way.
Seriously, do you have a better alternative? Or are you all just going to "BAWWW SO SICK AND DISGUSTING BAWWW" the entire time? I think it's sick and disgusting that you people want to make them suffer, and you don't even realize it.

Because that costs a shit ton of money. Why do you think they have to euthanize them? They can't feed them or keep their living spaces up.

I'm being serious. People crying over Billy Mays was kind of pushing it, but a bunch of animals? They're being euthanized, it's not like they're starving them or letting them bleed to death. Grow up a little.
I don't see much of a loss here because those animals were trained to perform and exhibit. They're dead anyway if you release them back to Africa or any wild lands.

There is a difference between "euthanize" and "destroy". For example, one involves lethal drugs, and the other involves lethal fire.
You know if PETA actaully opposed this and made a rukus, I just might join them.
