While I'm sure lethal injection is a humane way of killing the animals, it's sad that not much effort is being put in to prevent the animals from being put down.
Sell the animals to other zoos and wildlife preserves?

Because they can't afford to feed and house them, they can't afford to send them to other zoos, they can't afford to send them back to where they came from (and since they were raised in captivity, they'd probably die anyway), they're not allowed to release them locally and they're not allowed to just sell them to any person who strolls by.

they cant release them into the wild either, I dont think they would survive... because shits been handed to them. But then again, animal instincts.
It would probably be pretty damn expensive to ship them to the wild as well, seeing as those animals come from all different corners of the earth.

What are you talking about. He's being realistic here. Just because we aren't all up in arms about it while we cry our eyes out doesn't mean we DON'T care about animals. Euthanization is the best thing they can do for them, I don't see why this is so hard to understand.
