Near the end of WW2, they where both standing on the Czechoslovakian front.
One brother on the side of the axis forces against another brother and the concentrated power of the Russians, the Romanians and the US Air force.
Luckily they both survived the encounter and never really faced each other.

and we probably wouldn't accept it today if some US/Israeli soldiers killed some innocents under orders.
Do people just feel sympathy for old Nazi's or something? I never see people defend people like this when it comes to African or Balkan genocides.
I don't think they should be forgiven but they should be forgotten as they're not the people the anger is against anymore.

eh they could never [I]prove[/I] Von Braun was a party sympathiser or just a scientist working for the party plus he was too damn important in NASA, pretty much all of NASA's plans for the first 40 years of exploration were layed out by the guy even if we didn't get half-way through part one

the problem was also the conditions at penamunda weren't really documented like the concentration camps so it was mostly the word of the workers and the guards which were often conflicting, the concentration camps were very well documented by the nazi party for some sick beurocratic reason

it really does exist for a lot of crimes, but murder and criminal crimes aren't covered
