It already died. Now its just existing.
What are you doing? Stop.
Can't find any webcams of it but it's in the middle of the ocean so duh. Any warships positioned there? Is this info available? [editline]19th October 2013[/editline] Ship tracker shows the area s empty: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/
As if it wasn't bad enough my homeland is being gangraped by disasters all the time, I have all of these non-Japanese who can only characterize my culture by anime and manga. Can people seriously start treating Japanese culture with a greater amount of respect, or at least enough to realize there's more to it than cartoons, cutesy things and weird fetishes? I mean, there's actually a lot wrong with Japanese society but I don't think many people know enough to care. I mean I'm sorry to be the one to shit in your cereal, but it doesn't have to be what shows up every time Japan is mentioned.
I have some wicked respect for the Japanese. You guys have the best warriors since our Scottish clansmen. Not to mention having to weather out hurricanes, earthquakes, all that shit on a near yearly basis. [editline]19th October 2013[/editline] Also the Zero was a damn cool plane.
well then that sucks Hopefully they have good hurricane tech. I live in florida and thanks to hurricane tech stuff a hurricane only exists to give me free days in school. i only remember one time where it went sorta bad (power outage for a few days).
My house looks like a concrete pillbox. Businesses are open during Typhoons as well. I remember we had a nasty one last year which made the power go out, but Family Mart and Lawson's were still running without power. You know it's gonna be a bad Typhoon when Japanese businesses close and noones driving on the road anymore (which rarely happens). (This is in Okinawa mind you).
I find it hilarious when people say the people from fast anime are shit posters because like 90% of the forum are shit posters anime fans or not Seriously though Japan just can't get a break, if not for modern technology I doubt there still would be a Japan

Last typhoon was just a lot of wind for me. My house is pretty strong (and fairly new) so no worries here. But some houses don't fair well with the elements.
What early game? You mean how we didn't have one and had to fracture another player just to get into it?
Hey, for joining late we shot up really fucking quickly, we had TRAINS our early game, you know what japan had? swords!
anime will never die
A man can dream.
Meanwhile in Kansai, all we get is some heavy rain (except for Kobe - they sometimes take a hit...). These typhoons hit certain areas really hard while other areas are more or less untouched. It's the same with the earthquakes. I guess this way, the people that do get hit are always going to be ready for it... When it eventually does hit Osaka though (whether it's a huge typhoon, earthquake or tornado), we're fucked.
Can you perhaps not turn every thread about a natural disaster in Japan into a stream of anime jokes?
QUICK PRAY TO A SHINTO GOD PERSON THING. KAPPAS. They were just raving drunks, especially urban Samurai, paid to not actually just go around the country side and fuck things up.
Did I not make it obvious enough that I wasn't serious?
I don't know man, a lot of Asian countries, especially China, would probably still call all this bad shit happening to Japan as karma. Hopefully this storm dies down before it hits, they've taken a big enough beating already in the last few years :(
The equivalent to European knights.
It depends on which Kingdom, some knights and whether they were crusaders or not.
The equivalent to European knights.
European knights didn't (for the most part) check their sword condition through murdering an innocent commoner. IIRC Samurai were more of a glorified crowd control, although I don't have any citation on that.
hello kansai comrade. I'm in Shiga. I'm going to take a guess an say you go to kansai gaidai.
No. I go to Kansai University, Faculty of Informatics. I've been living in Osaka for many years before university, though. edit: Greetings to you too!
Goddammit, there goes the weather of where I live. It's already been windy here, and we had some heavy rain too. Here comes more.
Just out of curiosity are there any Japanese Facepunchers at all? I can't remember the last time I saw a Japanese flag under an avatar.
Actually, I live in Japan and I'm half-Japanese. I'm not sure why my flag is a US flag though. Maybe it's because I registered when I was in the US?

I knew the Typhoon would puss out.
