Massachusetts in general and Boston in specific have always been my favorite places in New England. My heart goes out to everyone involved in this tragedy.
"Suspicious people on street"
Yep, he's at a higher elevation so that automatically makes it very suspicious
No way he could live on a high floor in that building and went up to see what was going on, because going directly into it probably isnt a good idea
nope not possible AT ALL
I think I need to take a few days off of the internet, seems like this is all anyone will be talking about.
I get that it's depressing and sad, but why do we as humans revel in suffering so damn much?
Yeah! It's a tragedy! People died and that's awful
But I guarantee the next few days are all gonna be stories about the events, people's thoughts, and countless tweets/ facebook posts about praying for boston, even though people have zero connection to Boston.

A favorite among domestic terrorists. Similar trucks used in Oklahoma bombing and Oslo bombing, and the first WTC bombing.
If that thing had actually been filled with explosives, well, fuck.
The more packages being found, the more this sounds like it's either a group, or one really committed guy.
a "suspicious" package doesn't mean it's a bomb, stop making stuff up
everyone's scared and the media is making everything worse, and random, uneducated speculation adds nothing
a lot of people go on roofs for a lot of reasons - i think personally it's clutching at straws. could have been someone going over to see what the first explosion was? they aren't walking away.
Confirmed not related by staff
the explosion was mentioned at the press conference so it's still a possibility
Talking about a black male in a black hoody with a black backpack who was denied access to the event by police. He apparently broke eye contact and put up his hoody and walked away, and then about 5 minutes later the explosions happened.
I'm actually disturbed because a friend of mine who is in the Airforce apparently knew this was going to happen yesterday.
Article has added a bit more to it:
Feel like I'm about to throw up.

As of currently I am not concerned with causation or motive, only that everyone is moved out of harms way. But I believe this is the surveillance photo they were talking about.
Creepy as shit.

I wouldn't trust anything I hear/read right now. Everyones in a state of shock and news reporters are just spewing shit out of their mouths tbh.
Livestream just said that he thinks the JFK Library was related??
Hearing something on my scanner about a phone call and a hospital, and a combative suspect at a pizza shop.

What
I'm actually disturbed because a friend of mine who is in the Airforce apparently knew this was going to happen yesterday.
Wait, what? Could you elaborate please?
Creepy as shit.
Just looks like a guy on a roof to me.
Explosion at JFK, confirmed.

People trying to understand what happened and why.
;40293478']This isn't quite accurate. Terrorism can be on a singular scale, like an assassination, if it uses the motive of terror to affect public policy. It doesn't have to be against a crowd, government, public service, or anything like that to be terrorism. It just needs to intentionally cause terror, by any means, in an attempt to change policy.
It isnt politically motivated all the time.
12 dead, 50 injured. Suspect is Saudi national, being treated for shrapnel wounds at the Boston hospital.

Can I get a link to a Police scanner?
Still... I would not be surprised if some people tried to go up the buildings for a better view of the marathon.
If that were the case you'd imagine more people would be up there. I mean it's just as viable the bomber could've wanted a better view so he knew when to detonate.

What?

Odd as this might sound, tragic events are extremely fascinating. It's natural for people to want to know as much as they can.

I find it hard to believe it's the Saudi guy. You'd think a terrorist would make sure he wouldn't be within the blast radius.
Explosion at JFK, confirmed.
So we just went from "Explosion at JFK" to "Natural fire at JFK" to "Explosion at JFK".
What the fuck.
