are you serious?
Oh God, they're already calling it "Boston's 9/11". Why does the media have to do this?
Apperently they forgot about the 2007 terror attacks...
Someone post links to the nation address page.
http://www.whitehouse.gov/live Probably going to be here
Oh God, they're already calling it "Boston's 9/11". Why does the media have to do this?
So we can complain about the media doing this and everyone goes and takes a look for himself. Nothing against you, it's just how it works.
https://twitter.com/whitehouse/status/323916761529479169 Obama is going to make a statement in 10 minutes
Isn't it to soon for a statement? We don't know enough details yet.
are you serious?
No. Someone on /b/ posted a distasteful joke, I laughed, I moved on.
Unattended running car reported. This is just getting more and more nervewracking. [editline]15th April 2013[/editline]
Dont know about it getting nervewracking, people just start panicing and report everything...
Oh God, they're already calling it "Boston's 9/11". Why does the media have to do this?
Because 9/11 is a well known thing in America and around the world. Slapping that on will make more people watch it. And this is not even close to the magnitude of 9/11. Sometimes the media fucking sucks
Oh God, they're already calling it "Boston's 9/11". Why does the media have to do this?
Im guessing they're trying to refer to the events that too place were of similar statue to 9/11 (but they weren't) I dont think they're directing it as the same motive though
OP is pretty rough, but I'll put it up in a moment and post a link here
Isn't it to soon for a statement? We don't know enough details yet.
He's probably going to say just that. Just going to let everyone know what we do know (which isn't much) and express his sympathy for the family members and stuff.
Oh God, they're already calling it "Boston's 9/11". Why does the media have to do this?
This is nowhere near the scale of 9/11.
Yes, because 3 bombs going off, and several more being found around the city is a horrible accident. Really?
You do know it's difficult to follow something millisecond by millisecond right?
Isn't it to soon for a statement? We don't know enough details yet.
Probably just be an expression of grief for the victims and what the federal government is doing rather than providing more info on casualties and suspects
Because a few events can depict a country of 315 Million, right. You have a better chance of being struck by lightning than to be involved with any of these.
I'm sure he was completely serious and not trying to upset anyone and just hoping to say a very valid, well stated opinion on the matter.
Dont know about it getting nervewracking, people just start panicing and report everything...
Considering that my cousin lives relatively close to the affected area, I'm definitely going to call this nervewracking.
My heart goes out to you Bostoners. God speed.
Before it happens, please dont use this as an opportunity to rag on entire ethnic groups. These people are abominations to whatever people they belong to.
