Hey guys, let's protest about something not worthy of protest! Yeah! We need an awesome and edgy name to show how edgy and cool our movement is! How about a second tea party? We can even call ourselves teabaggers, just like bags of tea! Brilliant!
Do they actually call themselves teabaggers? jeez the jokes write themselves
Can someone please explain to me why anyone would think the Obama administration is socialist? I mean, he's not a great president, but I have a feeling they don't know what socialism is.
Checklist of things to do before posting: 1. Make sure you're not the idiot who's wrong first I won't go further because you failed number 1 Socialism: # a political theory advocating state ownership of industry # an economic system based on state ownership of capital So if the government (state) advocates (wants) to own everything (industry), and taxes people (not just the rich) to to fund these things (which not everyone uses), how is it not socialist.

Stuff like UHC is Socialist. The real debate is whether Socialism is actually that bad. Too many (older)Americans hear the word Socialist and immediately think of the USSR, which is unfair since most of Europe goes by Socialist principles and they seem to be getting along fine.

The only tea most people in these parties know is Lipton, lololololol.
