The voyeur's paradise. [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline]
If you saw someone jacking off to you in public, you'd be creeped out.
I'd be pretty flattered really, it would probably make me feel a lot better about myself.
Also paparazzi are fucking scum and it pisses me off to no end when they refer themselves as journalists, they're the worst thing that happened to journalism since Ted Turner. Bloody parasites. [editline]eh[/editline]
The voyeur's paradise. [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] I'd be pretty flattered really, it would probably make me feel a lot better about myself.
please be joking

Paparazzi are disturbing people who exist solely to prop up failed newspapers.
that last phrase. holy shit, all of my check marks.
The voyeur's paradise. [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] I'd be pretty flattered really, it would probably make me feel a lot better about myself.
I would be creeped out to no extent but eh, honestly, I can't really see anything inherently wrong with having someone jack off to you, but that doesn't mean it can be disrespected.
Upskirt shots can be considered low level stalking. While I think banning this would be too extreme, I do think websites should be obligated to remove such images upon request.
I'm going to take a pic of you in public and post it on the internet so millions of men, 13-40 can stroke themselves to your body without your consent or knowledge. Now do you understand why this is bad?
I'll autograph the picture for you.
i think people should grow up a bit and realize that women aren't objects.
i think people should grow up a bit and realize that women aren't objects.
omg feminazi on-topic: this is creepy as fuck but what's creeping me more is that this stuff goes by "unnoticed". Why isn't reddit in trouble with the law yet? It's amazing how it remains to this day a website with this whole "cool website with cool opinions and hurray internet freeedom!" attitude plastered all over it, despite having all those terrible subreddits and such a terrible user base and /r/atheism makes me wish, hell, I'd BEG for a god to exist just so these arrogant dicks shut it alright enough reddit bashing for today
I'll autograph the picture for you.
Yeah guys. Women should just be totally fine with this because Paramud would be ok with some guy taking upskirt shots of him without his permission so that thousands of people on the internet can jack off to it.
It would be hard, but I think there should be some kind of 'law of practicality' in this. For example, if someone is sitting down on a park bench, and from that position takes a picture of a woman walking by it's okay no matter what the picture shows. My reason? Anyone sitting there watching that woman walk by would have or could have seen the exact same thing AND it's a public place. On the other hand, if someone has to lean down off the bench and reach down low with their hand holding a camera to take an upskirt picture- that would be illegal. What that person did was not an ordinary use of that park bench, and they did it to access visuals that no other person in that park would see. Meanwhile, since someone posted the link, I shall retire to my chambers to review this website so that I may study this issue further...
Yeah guys. Women should just be totally fine with this because Paramud would be ok with some guy taking upskirt shots of him without his permission so that thousands of people on the internet can jack off to it.
Yeah because that's exactly what I was saying I wasn't just responding to a hypothetical situation proposed by someone on the internet or anything That'd be silly
Yeah because that's exactly what I was saying I wasn't just responding to a hypothetical situation proposed by someone on the internet or anything That'd be silly
Don't start this. I already know your stance on this subject from your first post in this thread.
Don't start this. I already know your stance on this subject from your first post in this thread.
How exactly am I starting 'this' by responding to your post? Are your posts off limits or something?
How exactly am I starting 'this' by responding to your post? Are your posts off limits or something?
I'm just saying don't start trying to deny that my post isn't too far off from what you actually think.
They are most certainly not "seen like that by everyone." I went through the photos on the first page of the creepshots subreddit right now. Nearly every single one is composed and framed in a sexual manner. (seriously, the #1 pic right now is a close-up of a woman's backside as she lies sunbathing, unaware that she's being photographed) There is a damn big difference between street photography, which is what you are describing, and what that subreddit is doing. Taking pictures of scenes as seen by everyone is called street photography, which is pure photography because it strives to capture scenes in public spaces as objectively and realistically as possible. Framing a single female's breasts or butts in a public space is not street photography, and it is a gross invasion of privacy.
Well I understand then. Although this also makes the pictures anonymous since you can't see their face. But I get what you mean. I dont like paparazzis either since they systematically target one person and try to photograph it in private and often in unflattering ways. They are a waste of photographic equipment.
Revenge porn and creepshots are just wrong; if the pics are taken without consent that's a bad thing. Only if the lady's agreeing to it, and genuinely consents to naughty pictures (not drunk), only then should it be ok. Women ain't objects; they're just people. Sometimes attractive people that may trigger some primal urge, but they're reasoning intellects nonetheless, regardless of whether they're some sophisticated uni lecturer or a lazy-eyed layabout who watches Springer and smells of whiskey. No matter their station, no matter whether they're polite or an asshole (women can be assholes too), they're still people.
I read a thread in SRS recently that highlighted some of the posters in /r/creepshots, and the most disturbing one of all was a high school teacher who would post pictures he took of the girls he found attractive in his class. It's fucked up.
I'm just saying don't start trying to deny that my post isn't too far of from what you actually think.
It is. I'm not defending the paparazzis mentioned by Ema Watson, at least not the one who went out of his way to get a shot of her panties. That's pretty fucking illegal. When you take a picture of someone in public, a normal picture that isn't going out of your way to get a shot of their tits or anything like that, I see no problem with it. If you don't want someone taking a picture of your low-cut shirt, don't go out in public with it. Don't complain about something of your own doing and act like it's your fault. In the banner on the last page, I see exactly two images I'm not alright with. Specifically, the third from the right and the second from the left. The rest of them are of things that the women had to acknowledge that people will look at in order to even consider wearing them. If they're fine with wearing a shirt that shows their cleavage and walking around with it, they have to accept that someone could take a picture of them in it, known or unknown. Most of them would even fucking upload those pictures on Facebook if their friend took it, some of them probably upload even more revealing pictures. Don't wear something in public if you're not comfortable with people seeing it. [editline]You ever see a nudist pissed off that people are seeing them naked?[/editline]
I read a thread in SRS recently that highlighted some of the posters in /r/creepshots, and the most disturbing one of all was a high school teacher who would post pictures he took of the girls he found attractive in his class.
also worth noting that the girl was like, 16 [editline]1[/editline] or maybe I'm thinking of a similar situation
it's reddit, similar situations happen on an hourly basis
also worth noting that the girl was like, 16 [editline]1[/editline] or maybe I'm thinking of a similar situation
Doesn't matter if she was 16 or 61, he still shouldn't have his job after that.

Women don't go out in public to be sexualised and have their privacy invaded.
I think you'd feel very differently if you were a woman out in public and you found out you had creeps taking photos of your breasts or ass so they could share it on the internet and jerk over it. But I definitely wouldn't blame them for taking a picture of my tits if I was showing them off. [editline]oh hamburgers[/editline] Also, I'm not taking gender into account here. I feel the same way on the subject regardless of if they're a man or a woman.
I don't know what I'd feel. But I definitely wouldn't blame them for taking a picture of my tits if I was showing them off.
You act as if all women go outside to show off their breasts - like any slight showing of cleavage is an invitation for men to happily gaze at them and take pictures of them. Which is, you know, completely wrong, and it really highlights your lack of understanding of women and women's issues.
Gender doesn't have much to do with this, just people being weirdos
The voyeur's paradise. [editline]22nd September 2012[/editline] I'd be pretty flattered really, it would probably make me feel a lot better about myself.
i know how you feel man i just feel so great about myself when i attract fat lonely men with their hands around their sweaty dicks
You act as if all women go outside to show off their breasts - like any slight showing of cleavage is an invitation for men to happily gaze at them and take pictures of them. Which is, you know, completely wrong.
No, but if they wear something that shows off a feature, they have to accept that people are going to be looking at that feature. Which is, you know, inherent to some clothing that shows off your features. If you don't want someone to look at your cleavage, don't buy a shirt that displays it and wear it in public. It's not that hard to understand.

Why don't you go through the actual POSTS and ask yourself if any of those women are "showing their tits off" just begging for come creepy man to take pictures of them. I suppose you're one of those people... the ones who insist rape victims were "asking for it" because of the way they were dressed.
