Well then so do books, movies, TV (oh god this), and sports.
I have changed genres allot.
If they do make an episode 3 then that means half-life 3 will take somewhere between 6-8 years meaning by the time the game is actually over I will be done with college and might have children in a house with a wife [sub][sub]or I could just be still living with my mom[/sub][/sub]
Don't worry, Gabe. I can wait for Episode 3...
The beard is like a muzzle. If we shave it off, all the secrets will pour on out.
Maybe he is growing a beard and shaving it when ep3 is done?
[QUOTE=Soldier32;34808511]Fuck Episode 3. It needs to be Half Life 3 at this point. To wait this long for a short episode game would piss me off.
as you grow up games definitely get less appealing.[/QUOTE]
I think it's not "Less appealing" and more like a whole bunch of important education and family shit starts getting in the way so you need to spend less time gaming and more time studying.
"And there are very good reasons why we're not talking about Episode 3, which I can't talk about yet, but I will"
oh dear what could they be? Did something go horribly wrong?

At least we know it's happening... At some point.
Maybe Valve admits that HL3/EP3 is not "relevant" anymore because they have "learned from their customers" otherwise, customers who buy a lot of their current products and bring Valve millions regardless.
Also seeing how so far they have made: the biggest online gamestore Steam and kept it running, other totally unrelated stuff/events, L4Ds, Portals, DOTA2, Team Fortress 2, CS:GO.. What else, what else? Lunch times, sleep at night.
Every year I watch E3 waiting for Valve to show something, Ep3 or not, and every year I get Kinect fitness and Disney land.
