holy shit I can't imagine driving that fast. the fastest I've gone is like 60-65mph, and I didn't exactly feel comfortable.
:sweden:
Judging by the car model and the fine, he was probably a rich asshole who thought "screw the rules, I have money!". Too bad the Swiss use to take this shit VERY seriously...
Oh right I failed to realise that the guy was on a good income. Over £2000 a day is fucking whoa. I wish I had £2000 a day.
That's the fine, not his income. Granted he probably has a very high income anyway, what with the mercedes.
That's the fine, not his income. Granted he probably has a very high income anyway, what with the mercedes.
and the fine is based to his income.
holy shit I can't imagine driving that fast. the fastest I've gone is like 60-65mph, and I didn't exactly feel comfortable.
Only 65 mph? I've gone 90 down the state highways...
Only 65 mph? I've gone 90 down the state highways...
none of the roads I've been on have that high of a speed limit
none of the roads I've been on have that high of a speed limit
Neither has any of the roads I've been on.
That's fucking fast but even more ridiculous speeding ticket
none of the roads I've been on have that high of a speed limit
You said you've only gone 65 at the highest, do you guys not have 70+ highways in Florida?
That must qualify as cruel and unusual punishment, what the fuck.
Fuck that I wouldn't pay it.. then aain I probably wouldnt have stopped for the police anyways if I had a car that could go 200 mph
Fuck that I wouldn't pay it.. then aain I probably wouldnt have stopped for the police anyways if I had a car that could go 200 mph
That's a really stupid thing to do.
I can see him now, battle axe in the passenger set, horned helmet and aviators on, blasting Swedish death metal while conquering the Swiss roads one by one in his Germanian Steelbeast. :sweden:
Genius.
Think I saw that on mythbusters once.
And here I am crying about my £60 fine and 3 points
Now I want someone to go 210MPH like the Bugati in California.
It's based on his income, so he probably will get a lawyer to reduce it...
Somehow, it reminds me of mythbusters......
Sweden lost another great person :sweden:
£650,000? In SEK that's like, millions.
Now I want someone to go 210MPH like the Bugati in California.
That was fake. [editline]05:10PM[/editline]
holy shit I can't imagine driving that fast. the fastest I've gone is like 60-65mph, and I didn't exactly feel comfortable.
Shit, I've hit 90 in a full-size SUV on a empty two-lane road with marsh a foot away on either side.
The real question is: How did he not crash :psyduck:
Jesus Christ! This man should have his damned driver's license revoked for life!
I guess speed cameras have changes because on the 1st episode of Top Gear the Stig went 170mph and the camera didn't go off.
If I were him I would contest it in traffic court
The badassery of what happened should negate the fine.
Best speeding excuse ever.
So he has to pay around 1 million USD?
I got a chuckle out of this story because I have gone the EXACT speed he was going. My brother was lucky enough to have a SL65 Mercedes. Also, no I didn't get to drive it unfortunately.
