4. dynamically growing, shrinking, and morphing objects
Can you elaborate on this? Because it sounds more to do with procedural generation than physics.
So they didn't really improve or fix any issues that much, they just optimized it a lot.
So much for goodnight, sweet prince I guess?
If Sources already uses it, I hope Valve will have Source 2 or the next Game engine utilize it!
I hope they do
Gmod with the new physics would be great.
I want a game that has Red Faction destruction physics on a large scale.
Gmod / red faction
fort wars, only the only weapon allowed is a giant fucking hammer that sends you 50 feet away, your ragdoll smashes walls

to be fair, thats a great deal
It still looks really floaty...
[editline]i dont understand[/editline]
I feel like everyone's turning against me and they won't tell me what I did that was so wrong.
I just asked a question.

you bumped a month old thread
you bumped a month old thread
Oh...
Whoops, sorry guys.
fuck havok. where's my next generation of karma physics.
It still looks really floaty...
Yeah, as that tech demo clearly shows all games with the new Havok will have physics that are really slow and floaty because the game developers have no parameters at all to fiddle with and need to use those exact settings.
[editline]20th April 2013[/editline]
No, that's not how it works.
It's amazing to think what tech like this will be in ~10 years, seeing how far we've come already
Now shit can clip through things and spaz out across the map at an even higher frame rate than before
Well, they say they but 5 years of R&D into it, so it better be good.
If it'll be toaster playable then yes, it'll have been worth it
It still looks really floaty...
If havok looks floaty then physx must be in zero-g.
