Source Here we go,again. But I do think this would have happened no matter what the deal turned out to be, but perhaps not as bad as this.
im crying. we are gonna be poor. oh fuck oh fuck i gotta call obama and demand a refund
Welp, I'll be poor. I'm fat, play music every night, have a mild social life, and my parents are both not working due to layoffs.
We need to erase everything and start over or something.
Sell your Mac, that thing could probably resell for $5000.
I can't, my dad gave it to me since he got a new one and it's a university issued one.
We need to erase everything and start over or something.
But. I like my ability to waste my money on fake things.
But. I like my ability to waste my money on fake things.
Buy real things that look like your fake things :v:

Shit it has reached 513.
Edit
An official US government report is due out tomorrow on jobs, many are expecting it to bad, so be prepared for another triple digit drop. Thank god Obama didn't go the totally lame FDR route by putting people to work rebuilding our infrastructure. Nope, he did the smart thing by cutting taxes, escalating in Afghanistan, engaging in Libya, cutting spending, giving trillions to the banks and cutting services for poor and old people in his budget. President of the millennium.
Yeah the main thing I fucking hate is that he and the other dems try to fucking compromise too much and couldn't even get shit done with one of the biggest majorities that one party has had in at least the last fifty years. But the bailouts were pretty much necessary and Libya was too
Insert "Hurr Durr capitalism is dum" post here.
Insert "Hurr Durr capitalism is dum" post here.
I don't think anyone has said that or anything like that in this thread.
Well, there goes all the retirement funds my parents earned this year.
I don't think anyone has said that or anything like that in this thread.
I'm just jumping the gun I guess. Never mind.
Jesus, hit the deck because of Wall Street!
6. Jews who voted for him: take a bow! You managed to help elect the most pro-Muslim, anti-Isreal, terrorist-friendly president ever. What the heII were you thinking?
:v: These commentators are great.
My dad said we lost 35,000 dollars in some of our investments. Just today.
Thats okay, US, i didn't want a job.
My dad said we lost 35,000 dollars in some of our investments. Just today.
holy fuck best of luck to you and your family
we should just give the country to the republicans, without any liberal interference what so ever. and then once everyone is dead we can start it up the way it should be done.
holy fuck best of luck to you and your family
My dad has a surprising about of stuff invested. I think it's about 7% of what he currently has invested in a lot of stuff. He doesn't manage it, but he checks the market from time to time. He was bothered, but not really worried. But thanks for the thoughts. [editline]5th August 2011[/editline]
we should just give the country to the republicans, without any liberal interference what so ever. and then once everyone is dead we can start it up the way it should be done.
I almost thought we should let republicans win. And when the economy goes down even further it's the perfect time for all the republican politicians to be targets for assassinations. We weed out all the conservatives, and take back the country.
we should just give the country to the republicans, without any liberal interference what so ever. and then once everyone is dead we can start it up the way it should be done.
That's a ridiculous idea, the Tea Party would destroy it beyond all hope. Knowing them, they'd salt the earth, nuke every city and piss on every shrub just so they could say the Democrats suck at rebuilding. On the other hand, you'd shit bricks if we suddenly rebounded into prosperity. (somehow, probably wizards)

I heard stocks bounced back today on NPR. Anyone got a story on it. My dad might be happy to hear it.
I heard stocks bounced back today on NPR. Anyone got a story on it. My dad might be happy to hear it.
That's what I heard on 850 KOA today.
The Dow has been at this sort of low several times since the recession and subsequent recovery effort. It could still bounce back I hope; I'd really not like to see the double-dip recession turn into a self-fulfilling prediction.
Oh god oh god. LMAO.
Best troll ever. Seriously, must be a pro.
