Yes but that information is only accessible by subpoena. Kaspersky is saying any website should be able to know your identity at any time for any reason.

It doesn't matter. ISPs rarely hand out IP information at all unless there is serious legal action involved. It is against their best interests to lose customers. It is why the music industry has such a bad time with pirating. ISP make it really hard to find anything out and even then they would hardly do anything to you unless forced. It is why they are always trying to get laws passed that mean ISPs have to hand over IP information if someone is suspected of pirating stuff

Amen. My whole family is living without that crap and we're perfectly fine :v: If I see anything suspicious I just use the Virus Total website. Simple as that!
