what-fucking-ever dude
if you guys want to rate me dumb and insult me i dont really care, so far i havent seen anyone give any real rebuttal that pulls proof from her writings, no-one's said "OH but in this part she's like 'nah im not gonna release this, its private'" or anything
this is just like 2007 all over again, except this time its not even half as entertaining

why do you get so upset when you're wrong
i think it has to do with a bunch of people circlejerking over how irritating a poster he is for being confident that he's right when he's right lol
seventh?
don't you learn about this in biology or sex ed at like grade 5?
I learned about sex ed in the fourth grade over here in Canada. They don't show any graphic sex but they still tell you what the penis and vagina are and where the penis goes etc.
My school library had a book where some dude jizzed in an Australian girl's hair (this was basically the only conflict at that point), but apparently that book is fine while this isn't?

Not to indulge the derailment much further but may I ask, what exactly happened in 2007?

The same thing. Concerned mothers wanting to ban the book for the same passages.
I remember in middle school we had an assignment where we had to read the diary and write an essay on any part of it.
One of the students wrote about Anne getting into sexual maturity :v:
It's inappropriate for a teacher to be giving this material out to the kids when its really the parents' job to give the students this information
Yep! Give it to the parents!
So they can colour it with their own emotional context and effectively lie about it based on their own opinions on the matter!

well, teachers can do the same thing.

Most won't, though. And if they do, they should get fired.
this is why we read the play in my class and not the actual diary...
Uh, perhaps YOU should read the diary before giving people shit about it.
This is from the first page:
"I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as I have never been able to confide in anyone, and I hope you will be a great source of comfort and support."
In March 1944 she was inspired to start rewriting her diary on sheets of paper, but I do not believe there is any documented, definite intention. It could have been just for proper storage.
In the end the decision was made by her father after her death.
so you didn't read the whole thing. well done!
Anne Frankly I see no problem wit the diary.
