Why are people taking this seriously?
He's probably hinting at Walter making a cameo appearance in Better Call Saul. Vince already said that he really wants cameos of Walter and Jesse.
Yeah, fuck that.
If you read the last page of the script for the final episode, [sp]it adds so much to the ending. "They're too late. He got away." Fuck. If they ever retconned that, I would be so fucking pissed.[/sp]
[sp]I think the fact he "got away" is symbolic rather than literal. It mentions Walt floating up to the camera, away from the police as they move in, just like how Jesse floated up to the camera when he did heroin in S2. He "got away" because he wasn't arrested or really punished for his crimes legal-wise.[/sp]
joking else that'd be stupid as fuck
what a perfect ending that would be ruined
Honestly if they even decide to continue it I'll disregard it because it was a perfect and satisfying ending, which is pretty rare in TV Dramas.

Can't wait to see awkward suburbs dad walter white
Why is it even considered a spoiler that [sp]Walter white dies, come on it's about a guy with terminal cancer. i havent watched it myself but for fucks sake my understanding is that he picked up the drug trade because he had terminal cancer and to him he had nothing to lose. [/sp]
Would the Saul spinoff be considered more Breaking Bad? Last I heard Vince Gilligan doesn't want to make a movie but he'd be up for a Saul spinoff.
I'm in 2 minds about this. On one hand Id love it If it continued. But on the other it ended so perfectly why continue something that has had one of the best ending a tv show has had. Sure you'd get probably loads of viewers for a return but how long would that last.
I felt the same way about prison break. Id love it if it continued but it ended nicely and it should stay ended that way.
It can't continue. You can't ruin a moment as perfect as this.

people are actually taking this seriously? bryan cranston is notorious for messing with people like this.
Moves to Gotham and becomes a district attorney.
And Cranston did voice Jim Gordon in Batman: Year One...
Walt was knocking on death's door, and death was too scared to open it.

He walked the Comic Con floor wearing a mask identical to his own face. He's a glorious trickster/madman.

[sp]Mainly because he seems to get better and better about 40% in, and thus you're given the impression that he might as well survive. And, well, in the end, it's not even the cancer that kills him.[/sp]
Even if he were to survive, a sequel should be about Jesse and not Walt. Walt would probably be in prison for life, if not on death sentence for all the shit he did.

I didnt really like it. It was really predictable IMO.
[sp]He walks in and kills the nazis with the machine gun. he also gets killed. Jesse gets away. The end.[/sp]
[sp]there's no way he could've NOT died in the finale. it would've been a poor decision not to. Unfortunately, the ending was too predictable for the writers[/sp]
not gonna happen
"yes lets just invalidate pretty much the entire point of the whole fucking show, invalidate all of the character development, and basically retcon the whole thing"
the only way we're going to see more walter is if he comes back for the saul spinoff
Walter is a ghost who advises Saul on lawyerish matters.
Walter is a ghost who advises Saul on lawyerish matters.
He sends his advice from "Belize".
He sends his advice from "Belize".
Saul is shoulder devil, Jesse is shoulder angel.
"Don't do it, bitch! You know it's wrong!"
"We need to cook."
Hey, it could be those same private doctors that [sp]Gus Fring[/sp] had employed for the [sp]meeting with the Mexicans.[/sp]

[sp]Yeah, no shit. What I'm saying is that if they retconned it by bringing Walt back, it would piss me off.[/sp]
Starpluck has already spoiled the ending with 3 different thread titles.
Should I still watch it or does knowing what happens really destroy the experience?
Breaking Bad is not about the end, it's about the journey. As are most good stories.
