Also many explosions and no pieces on land?
By the way the МЧС (Russian emergency) claims there was np asteroid.
Politicians blame USA (how unexpected)

Either russkie have a time machine or I don't know
Timezones, perhaps? It's 9 hours between DC and Moscow, so if it was posted in the early morning February 15th in Russia, it would have been posted late at night on the 14th in America.
theres an even bigger one expected tonight, but it won't hit

Fuck it I'm late
They say there gonna be another meteorite explosion near Earth on evening.

Youtube servers are in different time zone than Russia is, it was already 15th February in Russia, while it was only 14th Feb in USA.
A single small meteorite could cause so much injuries. Imagine a Asteroid. Fuck.
As cool as this is one tends to forget how vulnerable we are. This was just a tiny piece of copper surrounded
by rocks and ice and yet it did so much damage. It came out of nowhere, and even if we'd seen it 10 minutes
before it reached us we wouldn't have time to react cause it was moving so fast.
It is with these words that I, humbly, request that the petition to build -or transform the moon into, or both- a Deathstar is re-activated.
I think the best part is how casual all these pedestrians are about this
Well it is probably like the 16th time this year
The guy's comments:"Don't piss your pants it's just a training"
What the fuck really
Well, there's an old training grounds close to the city. It's a military explosive ordnance disposal facility now, so huge explosions and shock waves (not on par with this one, obviously) happen there from time to time. Nothing too shocking in their reactions. But how can you not be struck motionless over that HUGE FUCKING SECOND SUN BRIGHT FLASH is beyond me, honestly.
I hope there won't be any death reported :(
-snip-
EDIT: Well, not that cool I guess.
Have some. God bless dashcam.

That must be the single most beautiful thing, yet insane to think about, I've seen through my entire life. The way it just appears out of nowhere then breaks up in the atmosphere (even then it's an enormously bright flare) is awesome as shit.
Window-making companies are gonna' be very happy with Russia today. :v:
Damn it missed the Tiber River.
Makes me wonder just how big it must've been if a chunk of it tore such a gaping hole the size of a bus through that zinc factory.

Man I wanna see a meteor rain down above the Netherlands some day. I love space.

One of the fragments landed in a lake near my city

Unless one of the fragments hit their warehouse and smashed it all.
I guess Russia's astronomers didn't know this was coming, which is a bit scary.

How wide is that? That dude in the distance doesn't exactly give the best idea of perspective. I wanna say it's like 9 - 12 meters wide.
About 7 meters
Did you know you can watch how near to the Earth is 2012 DA14 meteorite A.K.A something that will fly nearby satellites and "there is no chance that the asteroid might be on a collision course with Earth." on NASA's website here? Not the real-time satellite live-stream, but it shows you it's directions and distance to Earth, as well as time to the closest approach.
Someone on the ISS must have taken a dump over Russia.
