Call Of Duty Advance Warfare System Requirements Identical to Ghosts

I expect the game to be a bad port of consoles , like MW3 was.
(With the bad optimisation of course.)
Ghosts ran so bad on the PC it was a joke. The controls were all slidey and "porty", performance was shit and the graphics were reminiscent of 2007~. So glad it was a gift, I would've been furious if I paid for that piece of crap. Not to mention all the bugs on launch.
How did they end up going backwards? MW2 ran great, which is the only other COD I've played besides 4 so I don't know how the others were. Practically the same engine too.
That's not very uncommon these days. Uncompressed audio files and textures.
I really hate this trend of bloated games just because "hurr bluray". I don't need 20 GB of uncompressed voice acting in ten different languages thank you very much.
WTF is with shitty "next gen" games suddenly requiring 3/4GB GPUs? I'm not long after buying a 2GB GTX770 and now it appears it's already obsolete according to Watchdogs and COD.
From what I gather, 2GB is still the norm. 4GB editions seem to be aimed at people with a 4k or multi-monitor setup.
Atm no nextgen multiplatform really needs much more than 2 GB VRAM but that could change in the future
For an example of how little you need, Metro: Last Light never required more than 1GB even on highest settings unless you were running with SSAA or a VRAM intensive example like that
So if COD4 the last COD game you've played, how do you know what the latest CODs are like? Hmmm
I for one did genuinely enjoy the gameplay of MW2 and BLOPs (despite how little they actually added to the core gameplay of the game series) but after that point I started questioning what I actually liked about the games. Which was very little. Run and gun just gets repetitive after so many years :v:
MW2 was hindered by Activision's idea of starting this yearly shit.
The fact that they didn't give it not even half of CoD4's support was enough to kill a game that could have the potential to be as good, if not better than CoD4.
I like the fact that the Infinity Ward engine is actually a incredibly upgrade Quake 3 engine, but it's just too outdated.
Even then devs are already getting bottlenecked from blu-ray
You should know that, on consoles, data is often duplicated on the disk. This duplication of game data, spatially close to other data currently used by a map or region of the level, is done to alleviate long seek times console drives often have.
Yes, hard drive space could be used to store data, but it's often also in use by the OS at the same time, or not that fast either. RAM space is also limited on the PS3/Xbox360, but the PS4/XBO (which have better specs) might change how developers handle memory usage.
COD4 is the last Call of Duty I played. In the terms of games, COD4 was the best (at the time). All COD's since have been shitty.
MW2, Black Ops 1 + 2 were good. Don't call games shitty if you haven't played them.
Am I a bad person if this CoD really interests me. I am a huge sucker for power armor.
No, if you enjoy COD you enjoy COD. But you should't let them lie about "Next Gen"
sweet fucking JESUS 40GB.?!
The ps4 version of diablo 3 uses 63gb of hard drive space

This would be the first Cod I buy since CoD4
mw2 was a good game

Fuck. That.
I fucking hated Watch_Dogs for that shit.
Fuck. That.

You hated Watch_Dogs for using 2009 technology that even Intel HD graphics can probably utilise?
Get with the times, man.
Fuck. That.

You hate games for using almost obsolete API, not using obsolete API's and pushing the graphical tech further. Not the case with COD, but the point stand.

MP was insanely fun for some reason, SP was a clusterfuck of events (no Russian had absolutely no place in it, felt like IW got bored and wanted to give the media outlets a stir)

Sure it did, to provoke Russia to start a war. They needed a huge reason to start a war, and that was indeed huge.

Tbh, there was no reason to have the player play in it, really.
Tbh, there was no reason to have the player play in it, really.
which is why they gave you the ability to skip the mission if you wanted
nobody was forcing anybody to play it, you could skip it if you wanted to

The reason they gave you the ability to skip it was because of the huge controversy that they added a skip feature, which is a lot better than outright removing it at least.

Uhh no, the skip feature was always there, including pre-release builds.
Texture resolution has like barely changed in the past decade
Actually when you want to double the texture resolution you need 4x more space
Sure it did, to provoke Russia to start a war. They needed a huge reason to start a war, and that was indeed huge.
Nevermind the fact that at least one or two of the guys alongside you are scripted to die in the mission, one of which has a big russian sickle design tattoo'd onto the side of his fucking neck. It's probably explainable that the Russian government was corrupt enough to just use the American corpse as a scapegoat through certain information means (deniable ops and all that should've made that questionable), buuut the plot doesn't even take five seconds to really imply this and No Russian's dialog itself even acts like the other deaths didn't happen.
I still say Modern Warfare 2 is where Infinity Ward just began dropping the ball big time with any sort of logic in their games due to the lack of fucks given at the time, and the corpsetrain still riding on after the majority of them left just continued to follow the example.
Uhh no, the skip feature was always there, including pre-release builds.
Oh, I could have sworn it was added afterwards nevermind then.

Yeah yeah, artistic license and so on. I played it, I wasn't all that offended, but it just overall added nothing to the game so it came off as being offensive simply for the sake of being offensive. I have no qualms with offensive stuff in games, movies, etc., but if it doesn't add anything, there's no reason to have it there.
every game since cod 4 have been identical
yes because WaW was totally modern

On consoles, sure.
And it was an identical experience on the PC, butthurt children with Mics included. Your opinion is not fact, neither is mine.
