I want some information on Fallout 4. Get to it, Bethesda.
If it's the next Fallout game, it better be developed by Obsidian.
I do hope that Fallout 4 is handed off to Obsidian if only for their great writing. New Vegas feels so much more connected to the lore of Fallout than 3 did. That being said, Fallout 3 really was an amazing game and the only reason it gets shit on so much now is because we have New Vegas to compare it to. But I think it's important for people to remember the difference in development between 3 and New Vegas. When Bethesda was making Fallout 3, they were starting from scratch (essentially, I know it's technically heavily based on code from Oblivion but that's not the point.) They had to create the skills, the weapons, all of the assets, etc.. on top of creating a unique story and unique quests and characters and all that. Obsidian already had an existing base to work off of, they were able to reuse probably 90% of the assets from 3, and most of the gameplay code was already there for them, so it seems natural they were able to focus more heavily on creating an immersive world and lore. Either way, it better be Fallout 4. We've been waiting too long and the only thing that is a worthy contender for announcement is DOOM, and even then I'd still prefer it be another Fallout honestly.
do you think bethesda will get its shit together for fallout 4? i've had just about enough of bugs and glitches.

oh man I can't wait for more battlecry info
Dishonored 2 or bust.
Imagine if they made the next dishonored like if they had put dishonored and dying light together and just taken out the whole zombie apocalypse of dying light.....that would really be something.
I hope its true what we all heard about Doom 4 during Quakecon, a Doom game needs to be fast paced, lots of big guns and gore-y.
How about they just announce all of those games and you're all happy
oh man I can't wait for more battlecry info
Imagine the rage and disappointment if they talk about that shitty moba everybody forgot about for the entire hour
Doom > Dishonored II > Fallout 4 In that order. Fight me IRL.
Or Prey 2. Please, please, please give me Prey 2.
You. I like you.

I would love to see Obisidan do 4, only because of how ambitious and passionate they are, and as you mentioned, their great writing.
anything but a new dishonored game oh god bethesda has so many franchises that I care about and dishonored is absolutely not one of them
I hate to say it, I never really enjoyed a Bethesda game. I really don't like story heavy games, or really enjoyed dishonored. I'm hoping for doom or something new.
What if it's Evil Within 2
anything but a new dishonored game oh god bethesda has so many franchises that I care about and dishonored is absolutely not one of them
Dishonored is the closest thing we have with HL2, i mean the same art director (Viktor Antonov) from HL2 is on the team of Dishonored and that definitely shows and i fucking LOVE his work. So i definitely want to see more of Dishonored, also they can go in many ways with the story.
DISHONORED 2 BABY COME ON GIBE ME
I'm hoping they looked at New Vegas and kind of got inspired by it. I'm pretty sure most people think New Vegas was just a better game, and they probably realise that.
You know, I don't get it. Shortly after Fallout: New Vegas came out, people were saying it was shitty and Fallout 3 was a superior game. I always preferred New Vegas personally, but I'm mystified as to why there's been such a complete turnaround.

It's all ironed out now, but I do remember people complaining about that at the time of release.
I'm happy for anything. Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls 6 (Elsywer please). I've got a good feeling about gaming this year now.
No. If they announce an Elder Scrolls game it would be The Elder Scrolls VI. I'm really hoping for Fallout 4.
Showing the average humour levels of an Elder Scrolls player here.
do you think bethesda will get its shit together for fallout 4? i've had just about enough of bugs and glitches.
If Skyrim is anything to go by they will. Fallout 3 was, and still is for that matter, riddled with thousands upon thousands of poor scripting decisions and game-breaking bugs. Skyrim......not so much. There's a few bugs in it, sure, but it's nowhere near as buggy and unstable as FO3 was.
A new elder scrolls is out of the question IMO, especially with TESO being out. Technically it's Fallout's turn for a game if you don't count Obsidian's New Vegas (Which, honestly, Bethesda doesn't since it got one less metacritic score than Bethesda demanded and they fucked over Obsidian for it). DOOM 4 is without a doubt going to be talked about. [editline]11th February 2015[/editline]
If Skyrim is anything to go by they will.
What if it's Evil Within 2
Brain Goo Boogaloo.
That's a funny way of spelling Hammerfell.
Blackmarsh or no marsh
That's a funny way of spelling Hammerfell.
Daggerfall 2: Electric boogaloo.
Daggerfall 2: Electric boogaloo.
Everyone would suddenly totally have played Daggerfall and nostalgia all over the place
That's a funny way of spelling Hammerfell.
But Elsywer has cat people. Cat people! Also a surprise based on the Call of Cthulhu game would make my throw my piggy bank at the screen.
they'll most likely announce a new ip too
yeah some might disagree with me but come on guys they're booking they're own full conference. chances are a new ip is going to be in the midst of announcements.
