Disney Park Denies Admission to Girl Dressed as Tinker Bell

if it took "a few months" to make those costumes you have bigger problems than park admission
At first, I was mad. Some things simply mean more to others than they do you, so complaining that it wasn't a big deal is incorrect. It's the same thing as keeping a keepsake from a passed relative. Sure, it has no meaning, but it's the symbol behind it.
Then, I read the policy, and it's obvious that they didn't single her out on purpose. She just had a good costume.

Spielman describes how she spent months making the two costumes, and how it took her two hours to apply her makeup that day and another hour to fix her hair. It wasn’t a complete waste of time, as one park let the couple in but another bought them new, normal-looking clothes (sandals, shorts and shirts) and insisted they wear them instead.
Disney said they asked the guests to change clothes because their homemade outfits looked too much like the ones real walkaround characters might wear.
"The costumes were disruptive to our operation and possibly confusing to our other guests, as children were asking to take photos with them," a Disney spokeswoman said. "To make up for any inconvenience, we provided them with replacement clothing and assisted them with the rest of their visit in our parks."

I see utterly nothing wrong with any of this. They didn't even turn them away and provided alternate clothes for both.
If you took most of Disney's female cartoon characters, and made real life costumes out of it
They would all look like fucking whores

All the Disney romances I can think of except Tarzan are pretty much some dumb skinny chick being submissive to some rich dude, and Tarzan just replaces rich with manly man instead.

Also, maybe giving them a fairly visible sticker that says "NOT PARK STAFF" on it or something would help? But then they might just take it off, either way you'd think she'd check if she's allowed to do this or at least not be such a cry baby about it.
Just go as a Bizarro Tinkerbell
I thought the girl was like... 4 or something. Then I saw the picture.

little mermaid has some of the most blatant fan service in american animation
it just kills me that they try to keep this family friendly magic vibe when their animators are all crazy, nerdy, horny 30-40 year olds

Mulan?
Lion King?

Mulan would be an exception, and simba only gets together with a childhood friend after he becomes the guy in charge.

Sounds like my kind of theme park.
It's great because the business and property are all owned by Disney so they can make you wear whatever the fuck they want, and kick out skanky 15 year old twats all day long.
She's 15 and she's treated like an adult. Good job on that.
Kids can dress up as long as they don't have huge boobs apparently.
Disney's official Tinker Bell is lookin' pretty good.
Jesus christ, this is news?
Listen, sweetheart, it's a nice costume. The guys at the park didn't insult you or it, you just said that they said it was "Too good". Take it as a compliment.
They gave you free clothes (Disney clothing is like super fucking expensive. Two full outfits from Disney is like $200+.) be grateful they did that for you and still tried to help you instead of just turning you around.
It is completely understandable that they don't want people they have no control over representing their characters. They're copyrighted. Tinkerbell, Peter Pan? Disney owns them. Your costume is lovely but you'll confuse the children and probably WILL upset them somehow. And when you upset the child the parents go to Disney and Disney can do nothing because you aren't their employee.
Wear the costume for halloween. And please stop being a drama queen.
I'm proud of us. We came up with a logical conclusion within a couple of posts.
Such drama over perfectly reasonable case.
I can kind of understand it I remember reading a story where people used to dress up as characters and pose as employees then flip little kids off and other shit. Doesn't seem out of reach for a 15 year old to do.
When she cried my eyes rolled out of my skull

Shh! Shadman might be listening..
It's more of a safety concern anyway.
I could dress as Goofy, go into the park and lure kids away to molest them.
Hence why they wouldn't let me in with my Goofy costume.

Why molest? You could have goofy time with them.
