Hey guys, guess what's gonna happen when L4D2 comes out.

I wanted to buy it, but it seemed to me everywhere i fucking go the PC version is like £50, and the Xbox i found at a shocking low of £25...so i went for the Xbox version, and it turned out shit, was not worth the money.

CSS is shit anyway.

Mw2 multiplayer is shit anyway.

Games been out for a few days. Counter Strike has been out for 5 years.

What's wrong with me being defensive? It's a fucking fantastic game. Sure, it has it's fuck ups but that doesn't make it a bad game, not even remotely. It has some of the most fun online I have ever played in a game.

The game itself is pretty shit and valve didn't do any work on it. They just took a mod that some dudes made and reskinned it and did some minor coding and bam.. 200million dollars.

MW2 as a game actually blew CSS, out of the water. MW2 is counted as two games, because it runs as SP, and MP. So if you take it as people playing MW2 SP+MP, its about 20k higher than CSS. CSS's MP and SP are one, [people playing against bots by themselves in local games]

Modern Warfare 2 is a fantastic game, and because it is so popular, there will always be the minority "hardcore" gamers who run around calling it a piece of shit whenever they get the chance.

But I won't since it's a decent game in some aspects.

MW2 on the PC is a fantastic game. Anyone who says the MP is crippled is an idiot. Practically every game I've been in on it (And that's a lot) I've had 3-4 bars. It only goes down when you get the occasional shit host or something starts to download without you knowing. It's so easy to get into games with friends too. In COD4 you had to find a game, read the server IP out to them and tell them what team to go on. In this you just join them over steam and find a game.

While it's not the best statistical analysis; I compared the peaks of CS and CS:S to MW2's multi-player and single-player. MW2 - 140,045 players CS - 169,001 players That's a peak difference of 28,956 players.
