Israeli government to pay African refugees $3,500 to leave
What a naive point of view. It's not convenient to be in a country without the proper paperwork, and many of the people who are in that position are refugees. Calling them illegal and telling them to go home is flat out dehumanizing.
Fixed.
We do not have the proper infrastructure to accommodate the political refugees and asylum seekers whomever they might be. We have so far offered them apartments at extremely lowered prices, discounted vehicles, an almost free tuition, as well as a wide range of other benefits from health care to credit loans to household bills.
We are not Sweden and we are not planning on becoming Sweden. We are a small country that barely manages to keep 20% of its population above the poverty line, we don't need more burdens on our economy.

Why not just make some new settlements for them?
To be fair, the source has the same title as the thread, obviously being used as click bait.
What a shit title, I'm changing it to the one from here: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/israeli-government-to-pay-african-refugees-3500-to-leave-10253318.html
Last title was: Go home or go to jail: Israel pressures African migrants to leave

Well no wonder its a shit title; He parroted Russia Today.
Paying them isn't really going to solve anything, it'll just make more people want to go there to get money.
Yeah, I'm really doubting how much of a solution this is for some. Some of the comments here praise Israel for this, and as nice a thing it is to do compared to just slamming them in the shutter and calling it 'dealt with', there's been several cases of people outright being killed the moment they come back to their home country because they were hunted for whatever reason. I remember reading something like that, it happened as early as late 2010 or so.
It's difficult dealing with illegal immigrants because you don't know their backstory, and getting to know it takes a hell of a lot more time and money than some are willing to invest to ensure that the situation is getting properly dealt with.
It's not the most optimal solution, but it sure as hell beats what a lot of other nations are doing.

Only available for the illegal migrants that currently are in Israel.
Good
This is literally throwing money at the problem and hoping that it would go away, isn't it?
call me blind but i don't see how $3500 is going to help someone that is, say, trying to escape genocide in sudan
and look at this stupid reason that netanyahu gave:
The country’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the move was designed to “protect the Jewish and democratic character” of the Middle Eastern state.
"sorry you don't look or think like us so get the fuck out"
I like somehow the idea of giving them money is a good thing when it'll just make them a god damn target.

You forget that being locked up is a lot better than going home, for some.
And that's still an option in Israel. Don't forget that prison includes a warm place to sleep, daily food, air conditioning, etc. etc-- it's not too bad of an offer for many refugees. Those that simply need food/supplies can take the money, and those that truly need somewhere safe can have access to a facility likely a hundred times safer and healthier than where they lived before.
And my country wants/needs to accept Muslim refugees from Africa. Bleh.
From what I know, there were large problems starting to form with illegals and their involvement in criminal activity. This is probably a part of the attempt to reduce crime levels.

In that case they can write up legal war refugee paperwork. There are laws for war refugees which differ to just illegal refugees.
