what do you expect me to do. I leave you alone, I don't care. Homophobes go all crazy around gay people cause they are gay. I say "good for you" and forget about it. What don't you understand about lots of people don't like gay people. Its a fact of life. You can try your hardest to change it but 90% of the time it wont work, because people believe that it is wrong just like you believe it is right. The more you protest the madder people get. You protesting wont get people to hang out with you, you protesting wont change the way people see gays. Its just the way it is. if you want to marry, go to another state. I don't know what else to tell you.
nice try though
Guys. Guys shut up, he has a point here. I've been wrong this whole time, you see guys, it's been us who are guilty here. Us queerfolk have suffered from institutionalised discrimination for almost the entirety of human civilisation, but that simply pales in comparison to what this poor guy goes through each day. You see, he looks out of his apartment or turns on his TV one day, and sees a pride march. And he gets mildly annoyed, because he thinks that doing that won't change anything. What a poor and wretched man, we should set up a charity to help other such victims of heterophobia. That's you. That's how dumb you sound.
That I find gays on TV marching about being gay pointless. So that makes me dumb. You aren't guilty of anything. But from what I see you people get worked up over everything. If somebody doesn't like me because I have a tattoo, I don't go on a tattoo march and protest, I move on. At work I have to cover up my ink from other people cause they might get offended. That is discrimination. But I have to deal with it just like everyone else.

Society won't accept us unless we fight tooth and nail every step of the way.
That I find gays on TV marching about being gay pointless. So that makes me dumb.
Finally something I can agree with you on.

I said alot of people don't like gays, not everybody. Jesus. What about that don't you understand. You can't just change somebody's beliefs. If they hate you, they hate you. It doesn't matter how much you whine about it. It doesn't matter if a bill gets passed, they still hate you.
You can't just change somebody's beliefs.
that graph proves you wrong I don't see how you can deny this I'm arguing with a sentient brick wall
holy fuck you are literally the most retarded a tattoo is a choice your sexuality isn't you cannot compare the two
It was a short-term example. You get a tattoo to express your individuality or if you just really want one. But there are reprecussions for having one because people might get offended. If youre gay well people might get offended. Even though you are just being you. I got a tattoo because my immediate family is compromised of tattoo artists and I was raised in believing that it is an art. So I do believe I can compare the two because it is very similar.
Also this is extremely relevant:
uh you do realise that being a homosexual is in no way comparable to a cosmetic operation right what the fuck goes on in your head to make you think like this
Possibly he believes that being gay is as much of a choice as getting a tattoo. It wouldn't surprise me at this point.

So that's his name. This time I've just called him that 'black comedian that was in that one medicore cop movie with Bruce Willis and Seann William Scott.'

Because that's exactly what our friends at Gallup show the opposite of. also don't try to compare a tatoo you got to one's sexuality which is used as a basis for one's rights to be stripped away from them.

Saying that having a family of tattoo artists absolves you of responsibility to make an informed choice doesn't reflect well on your ability to reason.
Possibly he believes that being gay is as much of a choice as getting a tattoo. It wouldn't surprise me at this point.
Jesus it was a short term example.

Then don't even try to put yourself on the same level as gay rights.
Jesus it was a short term example.
It was an incredibly moronic example.
I want to let you know that if I told you that you were completely wrong it would be a massive understatement.
I want to let you know that if you would act more mature I might actually start listening to what you have to say. But you have to flame and whine and call me names like youre 12 years old. Dude, just state your point and leave it at that.
Is there a civil rights movement for people with tattoos?
just throwing this out there there is clear discrimination against people who get tattoos and other body modifications p.s. I'm not comparing this situation to other civil rights issues
Is there a civil rights movement for people with tattoos? Are people with tattoos not allowed to marry? No? You are posting blatantly ignorant things that are both offensive and grounds for one to hold contempt for you, and a passionate response is both expected and warranted.
jesus fuck how short term is your example? even from 2010-11 the increase of people who found it acceptable was 4%
It was an incredibly moronic example.
just stop dude. there is no purpose of stating that. I looked at my arm and realized that I was discriminated against and people at my job dont like the fact I have an artpiece on my arm.
