And because the house, bank account, etc was in his name, the boyfriend will lose all that because they weren't legally married.

And me and a friend of mine agree on you having asbergers, I've done a ton of research in the field of mental disorders in general(Wanted to get in the field but went another route in the end), and my friend that actually works in the field. Now, there's many different types of asbergers, don't get me wrong, a ton of people have it, albeit very limited, I'm not calling you a full blown retard. But you most likely have asberger's in communication and empathy branches of it, try talking to a doctor about it, he'll most likely prescribe you some risperdal, shouldn't be to bad price wise, even for an american.
