The most fucked up thing is that this murder was done for no apparent reason. There was no robbery, vengeance, etc. Some random guy just killed a random man.
How do you live with yourself after knowing you took a life for nothing?
By justifying it. By some conviction. Or they're a psychopath.
He was just 1 day from retirement...
Wasn't he about to start a new job?
That's pretty god damn awful. Giving up a job like delivering pizzas to move onto IT, it's a pretty big step up.
I suppose fate is cruel sometimes. What a shitty way to die, too...
That sucks man, I think random violence is kind of the worst kind of violence.
shh hes on an emotional tirade, pointing out the logical flaws in his statement will only make him throw a bigger, dumber fit
Fun fact: Every decision you have ever made in your entire life was the result of emotion, not logic. Furthermore, accusing someone of being 'overly emotional' or 'illogical' is simply another way of letting the person you're speaking with know you don't care what they have to say and there's not a thing they can do to get you to listen. Not saying I agree with Zonesylvania, but you still shouldn't use these kinds of arguments.
Sheffield is one of those places I always thought was really nice to live in until I went there and my friends went to Uni there.
There were 77 violent and sexual offences reported there in August alone, we're meant to keep crime in the North. Go away you horrible people.
Also, have a great little link for crime stats in the UK:

You can compare your postcode with other postcodes and feel superior to people!
Death is cheap for so many people these days, so cheap that whenever you want something or hate somebody, what does it matter that your personal desire can be satisfied by the cost of somebody's life?
Murderers, in my opinion, don't deserve any legal or human rights or representation, and all this namby-pamby nonsense that people say about us descending to their level is starting to look increasingly out of place.
do you have any idea what the word "Being a fair, good human being" is?
what about the falsely accused?
what about self defense
what about an accident?
Hell, what if someone just had a good reason for killing someone?
What is this, England in the middle ages?

They could potentially cloud your rationality however.
If only he had some tool that he could have used to defend himself.
what the fuck seriously
Now I know why my friends don't go to work their last day. Here I thought they were just being assholes.
That is just the ultimate shit luck. Really, why would you do something like this?

what are you, a crazed right winger extremist?
/sarcasm
That really sucks. A similar thing happened in my town where a chinese delivery driver who was saving money to bring his family to America was shot for absolutely no reason the day before he was supposed to go back to China to visit his family. Some teenagers ordered the food and just shot him in the head when he arrived for no reason.
This story is truly depressing. So little information to the story too, it makes no sense.

Don't start that shit here.
'cause this could never happen in Canada, right?
Of course it could happen here. It's just a lot less likely.
That's why you don't fuck with Ninja Turtles.
I don't think this was a motiveless attack. The attacker just wanted pizza and the delivery boy defended his parcel to his death like a true courier.
I'd probably want to kill myself too if i was an IT consultant or a pizza delivery man, both jobs are low tier horrid.

Honestly I came into this thread to read if this man's life had been ended over the prize of a pizza but it doesn't mention if anything was taken.
