Music player integration (that is, an actual system to play music) into the overlay would be nice for people that wish to listen to music and are unable to alt-tab out of full screen-only games. Although it probably won't have support for the things that actually matter in a music player and thus I will never use it. If it's simply a notice to other people of what one listens to then it's pointless bloat.
Yeah I've got no issue with it actually being used to play music I can imagine that being pretty useful, but simply adding a notice about who is listening to what seems pointless and redundant to me and that's what I'm taking issue with.
Uh it would show your friends what you're listening to, it would be integrated into the steam overlay, it would be an incredible addition.
I'd rather if it was a generic API that stuff like last.fm / winamp could also plug into
There was a similar system on runescape; You could lend an item to someone for a fee (or free), it would disappear from your inventory and be returned to you after a set time, or earlier if they wished.
