Its really only good for making webkit animations and really basic pages from the looks.
But hey it makes making those animations a whole lot easier and quicker.

a lot of us have seen macaw but the difference is macaw isn't out in any form yet
Just a little warning unless you want to fiddle around with lots of keyframes avoid switching the timeline into advanced mode, there is currently no way to go back to the default. I though I was so stupid not finding it until I asked on the google group, well I did help the development somewhat I guess.
That's pretty cool.
I should really just get better at HTML and CSS, but I am too lazy.
Just what I've needed to advertise my product!

Thanks, now pay me for my private visit to Otolaryngologist.
It's a toy to easily make HTML5 ads with. I don't care about ads but at least a bunch of flash banners won't slow down website loading whenever I have to work with someone else's computer

chrome asked me if I wanted permission to run the quicktime audio player first but I did it anyway
So can you actually make a whole website with this or just cute little animations?
Flash for the web is officially dead
No.
As much as I love HTML5 I hate HTML5 web players, they are a pain in the fucking ass, they always break on me and I find flash players never screw up, flash isn't officially dead because we still have websites like Newgrounds who excessively use it and to convert everything to HTML5 would take a very long time and cost a lot

With the internet basically becoming as common as the telephone now, with the collective knowledge of the human race being on it, it's always nice to see accessible tools for people to create with other than Blogspot/Twitch/Tumblr/Facebook/Etc etc
When I was in 5th grade, it was uncool to be on a computer and browsing the internet, very few people my age even had access to it, and less knew how to use it. Now children 4 years old are navigating windows just as well as I can. Moderate Web Developing is probably going to be second nature to everyone within 20 years anyway
I agree, same with coding. I could see it being a second language that a lot of people knew within 50 years

I remember that time, I was the first one in my grade to discover the 'save' functionality on the really old macs my school had.
Thank fuck, I only know some basic HTML and CSS, I want to be a designer so I imagine I'll mostly be dealing with advertisements. Internet ads are pretty big at the moment, the problem is making an ad that stands out and isn't annoying.
So it is an actually nice WYSIWYG editor for ads?
I wonder if they tested it on Youtube

They're working on a PC version though. They've hinted at some closed beta news by next week.
As a web developer, these things are cool for little one-page sites, but as soon as you get into huge companies that need extensive databases and security these things are pretty much just toys.
Going to test this out on my FP 404 screen I made because I was bored.

(I know only basic CSS and HTML at the moment folks, that's why it looks shabby.)
Edit: Shit it doesn't allow me to open it.

These things are good for mocking up serious designs and such, but nowhere near capable enough to handle massive sites with tons of interactivity. Even more so if you're writing the system that runs it all in JSP or ASP. These designers just don't allow for them normally.
