I'm personally not too fond of Texas. That's where the majority of the people who fit the negative American stereotype live. (Crap. My stupid close minded opinion has a page king.)
Don't worry, we all get stuck on that boat from time to time.
Mississippi is the shittiest state, i thought that was official
I'm from garden grove, orange county its boring as fuck but the weathers great. And if you like weed the OC is a Mecca.i've heard Nebraska sucks unless you love corn with a passion
I visited California about two years ago. I was in Carlsbad and loved the area, people were pretty peaceful to talk to. I also somehow ended up in Compton for a lack of navigation skills, and people were alright there too. If you really wanna talk a shitty place to be... Any of the fucking towns within 25 Miles of Death Valley in any direction. Its like taking the egotastic idiots in Arizona, and mixing them with inbred know-it-alls of every Political Spectrum from California. Its hell. In short though... California is a nice place, and if it wasn't for small stuff like me not having fishing gear for Pier Fishing, I wouldn't mind living there. Edit: Fuck wrong national park... Meant Mojave National Preserve.
sucks here in gig harbor (WA), there's nothing to do hopefully gonna move to Santa Cruz soon
dude, santa cruz bros, I live in the santa cruz mountains [editline]24th February 2012[/editline]
I'm from garden grove, orange county its boring as fuck but the weathers great. Indiana is a shit hole. Just throwing that out there.
Gas is $4.25 - $4.30 here now. Screw this state, I'm going to Montana.
You'll fit right in. The nicer cities are all filled with Californian immigrants who drive up land prices by buying land for more than its worth. [editline]24th February 2012[/editline] The rest is owned by Ted Turner.
California looks like a nice place to live, but I would rather try staying in Washington because I actually enjoy the weather we get here and the general environment.
We probably dislike it because it fancies itself the only worthwhile state in the US.

Was your navigator high? I'm in Carlsbad now and I couldn't even imagine how you managed the 2-hour trip up to LA without thinking "wait, there might be something wrong here". And for the record, Carlsbad is pretty republican, but it's very well-off compared to the rest of the county. SoCal generally leans towards conservatives, so blame us for the whole gay marriage thing. And the pot thing. Our bad.
Pennsylvania tenth most favored state, whoo! Suck on that, you bloody Californians! With your insufferable weather, good roads; and your cheery, self centered disposition.
Fuck yeah, it's not Illinois this time!
Don't worry we're still number three. Why do people not like Illinois anyway? What's so bad about Illinois from the outside?
cali owns
Well, we also have to remember Prop 8 came from California...and passed.
I'm on the list that doesn't like it. They're too anal about auto emissions to the point they actually increase them, they try to tell you what you can and can't put on your engine(Again in the name of emissions, nevermind that a more efficient intake and exhaust will lower then and boost fuel economy), gas prices are astronomical, and some parts of it are usually on fire.
We have the most cars here. Our air quality used to be one of the worst, and we had constant days off school in the 80's and early 90's due to HAZARDOUS FUCKING AIR. Yes smog days, it got that bad. Now we have IIRC the best air in the nation.
Only California, Mississippi, Illinois, New Jersey and Utah had net negative favorability ratings.
California is the least popular yet it's the only one I didn't expect to see here.
Also, I think California should break away from the United States government, we have everything to survive and thrive independently here. Warm weather, snow, water, the ocean, forests, a border with Mexico, big cities, and really good soil for growing crops. I think the nastiest city in California is probably Modesto, or maybe Tracy. Fresno is pretty sucky too.
I live in Fresno, and I generally concur. San Francisco was amazing to visit in contrast.
I think the nastiest city in California is probably Modesto, or maybe Tracy. Fresno is pretty sucky too.
I live in Modesto, this city is a fucking miserable place to live.
Ah I currently live in Pleasanton, CA and everyones christian and republican here. Hard being a Canadian socialist with all these "Reagan was right" stickers.
San Jose is a cool city but it gets boring.
Gotta agree with you, I'm from San Jose too. But how can you not like california. We have the best weed, nice cars, a lot of hot girls. Though it does have its cons. Its super hard to get a job, at least in the bay area, and cops are anal about car junkies and pull people over for the stupidest reasons, such as 'car being too low', which happened to me.
Everybody who lives in my city loves to hate california. But tbh, it's got some great fucking weather. The alst 3 days is been 70+, chicks are pretty hot, dank weed, and a whole shit load of bad ass beaches.
In the city where I used to live, we had the cleanest air in California, and I think number 15 in the nation. But it had shitty crime rates due to gangs.
I don't like knowing that when the north koreans invade, the main part of our entire western front isn't sufficiently prepared to fight back.
San Diego, one of the biggest and most popular cities in California, is the biggest military city in the nation. [editline]24th February 2012[/editline]
You realize California has more debt now than the Soviet Union did in 1989, right?
He means the businesses are here. CA is the 4th largest economy in the world. It's the government that's in debt, which means public and social services suffer.
I can name a few other states that are way shitter than California.
pretty much all the ones that the Republicans liked, for one.
If there really are as many self-righteous hippies in California like people say, I can definitely understand why.
I've never seen a hippie in my life
Ah I currently live in Pleasanton, CA and everyones christian and republican here. Hard being a Canadian socialist with all these "Reagan was right" stickers.
In Pleasanton? I was there not that long ago and saw none of that kind of thing.
Where can I see the final results of the poll? I must know the fate of Connecticut!
Sadly I can agree with them, and I live there. :suicide:
Oh poor you, you live in one of the generally nicest states in the country. (Not saying the people are the nicest in the country)
