/v/
Biden announces Federal ban on casual autistic viral rehashes, wears dress.
/v/
I think this meeting would actually be hilarious.
You wouldn't download a car
Why wouldn't you download a car
I swear biden wants us to hate him.
I reckon this is a ploy, like he's doing this just to appease soccer moms and to take some flak off of games.
I just love it how people make the stupid assumptions that there is gun violence because of videogames and not because of looneys with guns that probably never even had a videogame in their life. What about any kind of violence in the past aswell?
Who exactly "represents" video games?
me
my dad brought up that he wouldnt have raised me with violent videogames if he got a second chance. fucking idiots who actually believe that violent videogames cause murderers are retarded.
Video games don't cause violence. I do. Also Biden is getting dumber as time passes by.
New media is evil.
All this violence with the young people, must be those violent books! All this violence with you g people, must be the new rock and roll music! All this violence with the young people, must be those violent T.V. shows! All this violence with the young people, must be video games! This has been going on for centuries. Violence is blamed on whatever new media is popular in the time. People used to blame violent operas for crime, I shit you not.
scientists baffled at rest of the worlds ability to play games and watch films and not shoot eachother
my dad brought up that he wouldnt have raised me with violent videogames if he got a second chance. fucking idiots who actually believe that violent videogames cause murderers are retarded.
Did he say why? What's so bad about you that he feels he has to do things differently? Frankly you're one of my favorite posters on here.
Did he say why? What's so bad about you that he feels he has to do things differently? He believes global warming is a hoax from al gore to scare people.
Can someone explain to me why people care so much about guns?
In what other case, ever, do we pass laws and hold meetings and paste all over TV because a few items out of 310,000,000 have been used to do something bad? More baseball bats are used than guns in violent crimes More than half the deaths by firearms are suicides 0.007% of owned guns in the USA killed someone in 2011 More guns were used in crimes BEFORE DOOM WAS RELEASED Violence never happened before video games! How many people play video games and watch movies that don't go on shooting sprees? What if the next shooter really enjoys Cheese & Crackers? We going to go have a talk to Ritz and Kraft? Blame the fuckers that do these crimes for fucks sake. Guns don't float around and target people by themselves

Hell, he got the Witcher games during the holiday sale and has been playing the first one. Also, do you happen to have a Twitter account, or have I just been following someone that is shockingly similar to you on a number of levels?
That's like meeting with Hotwheels to improve car safety.
That's like meeting with Hotwheels to improve car safety.
Good point. Maybe he's having this meeting because he thinks that, since they have so many guns in their games, they might be able to tell them how to design safer guns and better magazines.
Can someone explain to me why people care so much about guns?
Probably because they're rather easy to use for killing people
i dont ever go on twitter.
Ok, just found some random person then. Good to know, hah.
Good point. Only single shot bolt actions with under 10 round capacity. Any other gun in a game with be censored. With big FBI/ATF warnings that use of this weapon is illegal.

FYI this is actually a good thing and I believe Biden is doing it on purpose. He's clearly redirecting heat from a possible firearms ban to video games (which will never be banned in any sort of way, to be brutally honest). Good on him.
Kotick won't let him. He makes too much money off them to censor anything.
And then we'll censor this medium because, 'Gasp! It's interactive!' so are we going to ban airsoft and paintball as well? Or have I spoke too soon?
Guns are also interactive, with their point and click technology. If you hate video games, you hate guns and are un-amerrican.
How about you limit the amount of violence in television, movies, comics and literature as well then? Really, why should they be treated any differently?
I really think this logic is flawed, though the steps Biden is taking seem drastic and uncalled for.
Most of their stuff is really good. Occasionally they do go wacky, but for the most part its fine.
I don't really like it because I know it's pretty much just a Libertarian soapbox, and by watching the ones I agree with, I feel like I'm "supporting" that ones I don't.
