God, some people here are just terrible, committing a crime doesn't make you any less of a human, so why should some judge have the right to choose whether or not to end someones life? Plus, life in prison sounds a lot worse than the death penalty.

I doubt anyone is beyond rehabilitation. And the point is, we don't even try to rehabilitate, we either try to kill them, or put them in a shithole of a prison that makes them even WORSE.
