I don't think we should have death penalty just because of the principal of it all. It feels wrong to appoint someone the ability to say "I find as a human being, that you're not fit to be a human being.", it's... It's not right, it just isn't. Call me a moron if you will, I just find it inmature and spiteful rather than an act of justice.

Not millions. But hundreds of thousands. Finding a doctor willing to perform an execution is a challenge of its own. They either need to spend inane amounts of money hiring a quality doctor or hire a quack at a reasonable rate. That's why the procedure gets botched so often, because the physician is suspect.

I don't get how a criminal justice system can exist without the death penalty, [B]at some point[/B]. Prisons would become warzones if there was no eventual death penalty.
