They have only really started dealing with it the last couple of years but they are making huge investments into the area. China might be worse now but within a decade they should be a lot better off.

Just google it. They are closing coal mines, shutting down coal power plants and building wind turbines and nuclear power plants all over the place. They are currently investing more in green energy than any country in the world.
