Tulsa - I got my ass wiped by my couch.
i live in kansas city, my friend on the other side of town said he felt aftershocks, but i didn't feel anything and now i want my money back
Michigan here. We didn't feel shit. Sorry about the quake though Oklahoma. Just remember you're all still cool with us Michiganders.
It's a bigger deal to those of us toward the interior of the country who go a good deal of our lives without feeling an Earthquake of any time. It's a bit unnerving if you know about what happened in New Madrid in 1812. I was concerned it was related to that particular fault line. If it were so, it might have been much worse. Bear in mind that our buildings aren't built to withstand quakes
New Madrid is creepy as fuck to think about.
State of tornadoes and now earthquakes. Man, if you got both at once you would have real problems.
Does this affects only those living in the western United States?
I live in dallas and didn't feel anything :(
So that's what woke me up.
I was in the 8th floor of my dorm tower when it happened, about to doze off, when my desk and my floor started shaking and I hear a low rumble. It was like when a controller rumbles, except it was me and my entire floor. I got out thinking someone blew up the tower or something (I was tired and the thought of another earthquake happening was absurd to me for some reason) and I see my RA and his girlfriend shouting and telling me to go out the emergency exit, which was jammed but we eventually got it opened. Probably one of the most exciting things to happen since coming to university
There was another Earthquake about 20 minutes ago, 4.7 M, around the same area as the last. Apparently the aftershocks might be occurring frequently over the course of the next few months.
I was taking a shit when it happened Saturday. Exciting to say the least.
There was another Earthquake about 20 minutes ago, 4.7 M, around the same area as the last. Felt it again as well. Wasn't as bad as Saturday's.
I live in Oklahoma and I felt it. Both today and yesterday morning.
3 earthquakes in 3 days, what the hell.
