Sounds kinda dickish even if it didn't happen, kinda like how Square Enix sent a cease-and-desist concerning a little something called Chrono Trigger Resurrection, a fan-made remake of the original Chrono Trigger.

Since they are profiting off Mega Man maybe the band should just cut Capcom in a bit and everyone would be happy

I thought Protomen's Facebook said the c&d was fake and their website was also hacked to redirect to capcom-unity.

Second, read Protomen's FB, it's confirmed fake.[/QUOTE] I doubt it'll count for much here, but I recall seeing the C+D letter on /v/ the same day as the Legends 3 cancellation, and at the time the band wasn't even aware it existed, so their website/fb/etc. were fine and made no mention of it. There's also the fact that the related lawyer is a relatively small-time guy who primarily does work for establishing small businesses, not fighting over copyright nonsense (Capcom already has guys for that.)

Well the albums are still on itunes for now so let's hope this isn't legit. Frankly with all of capcom's recent idiocy it looks like it is. If this is real have they gone after The Megas yet?
