The "Einstein was right" statement is hardly accurate since he was one of the biggest opponents of quantum mechanics
Just what I was about to post, if anything he was proved wrong. Also hasn't superposition been empirically shown for many years?
The "Einstein was right" statement is hardly accurate since he was one of the biggest opponents of quantum mechanics
Not everyone is right 100% of the time.
Also hasn't superposition been empirically shown for many years?
Yes Pretty sure an article was posted here a while about about the first macroscopic object in a quantum superposition of states [editline]18th December 2010[/editline]
Not everyone is right 100% of the time.
You have completely misinterpreted the purpose of my post.
Does that mean I can fuck girls whilst looking at facepunch? :buddy:
You can't do both at once? Multi tasking is a wondrous ability.
I really hope to see them unify gravity with the rest before I die.
No, it means you can look at girls getting fucked whilst looking at facepunch. :v:
I see Einstein discovered alt+tab.
Reminds me of those large panaramic~ camera that scroll left to right to take a large wide picture. Can stand on the left when it starts then run to the other side to be duplicated.
So prove that I can be in two places at once!
I think were about to break the universe.
No, this is just how the universe actually works (on a very small level anyhow). It's just incredibly counterintuitive.
Was going to be all yay wohoo, then realized it's quantum entanglement. Then was like oh, this again.
Does this mean teleportation might be possible?
Was going to be all yay wohoo, then realized it's quantum entanglement. Then was like oh, this again.
no it isn't
Was going to be all yay wohoo, then realized it's quantum entanglement. Then was like oh, this again.

no it isn't
These posters are quantum entangled, imadaman's posts will forever be completely incorrect, while JohnnyMo1's will be the correct version.
no it isn't
Welp, apologies for saying something about a thing I know nothing about, and attempting to connect it to something I've heard somewhere. :smith:
Does this mean teleportation might be possible?
Teleportation is possible, I think we're already doing it. "We're" as in some old dudes in lab coats and particles.
Does this mean teleportation might be possible?
Might be? Teleportation is possible. It's just we are not sure how to yet. Teleportation is simply moving an object from one place to another one really fast.
The breakthrough, recognised by the journal Science as the most significant this year, opens the way to a range of practical developments such as quantum computers that are far faster than conventional processors and which could never be hacked into because they handle and transmit data using an unbreakable form of encryption.
FASTER COMPUTERS. :buddy: [editline]18th December 2010[/editline]
Might be? Teleportation is possible. It's just we are not sure how to yet. Maybe that's how teleportation will work? A bunch of atoms waiting to become part of a human will be waiting in the recieving chamber, and the original human vaporized?

"God does not play dice with the universe" Why would he say that, he was a pantheist.
have you ever played dice with yourself? shit sucks
Well, the sentence "God does not play dice with himself" is meaningless, why are you so dumb Einstein? [editline]19th December 2010[/editline] I love that guy.
oh shit ...is it gay to have anal sex with yourself
Does that mean I can fuck girls whilst looking at facepunch? :buddy:
Those two things are mutually exlusive
Wow we are discovering shit that he already discovered without the evidence. What the fuckkkkkk!?
Wow how can somebody totally not understand something and make a dumb comment about it. What the fuckkkkkk!?
oh shit ...is it gay to have anal sex with yourself
Try dangerous
Does that mean I can fuck girls whilst looking at facepunch? :buddy:
And for our sake, 4chan too.
Am I the only one who feels experiments like this is hinting towards a discovery that our world really IS like the Matrix, and the so-called quantum effects would be the effects of having a resolution?

So, could this theoretically allow us to do what we see in Star Trek? Transport pads, and the whole phasing in, phasing out thing untill we reach our destination? Could it look like it does in the TV show/movies? Would be awesome if it could.
