The next president gets to appoint two new supreme court justices, decide what we do in Syria, Iran, and Afghanistan, and solve another debt ceiling crisis.

I think I'd rather have Dubya again. At least he was entertaining.
As somebody who has no idea bout American politics, what happens if Romney gets in?
A lot of people will panic, but not much really.

It will be so bad it will go into the future, kill everyone, go back 1 year, kill everyone, repeating until it gets to 2012.
As somebody who has no idea bout American politics, what happens if Romney gets in?
honestly not much
whoever wins it really won't have as large of an impact as people typically imply
Obama might be leading opinion polls and all that, but the fact that Romney supporters are more likely to actually go out and vote should be a worry for the Democrats.
As somebody who has no idea bout American politics, what happens if Romney gets in?
He'll be a one-term president who does nothing but stall social issues like gay rights and abortion.
Our final estimate of the national popular vote is Obama 50% and Romney 47%
If this estimate comes true, how ironic it would be.
you guys realize 15% chance to get in is pretty substantial right
that's actually kind of scary

I'd like to think that at this point there aren't enough undecideds left to swing the election and that the polls can be trusted. If you think if it as rolling a ~7 sided die, yeah, that's kind of scary.
Also, it sounds like the 15% is mostly just leaving room for error in the polls at this point:
My argument, rather, is this: we’ve about reached the point where if Mr. Romney wins, it can only be because the polls have been biased against him. Almost all of the chance that Mr. Romney has in the FiveThirtyEight forecast, about 16 percent to win the Electoral College, reflects this possibility.
I swear these people better go out and vote.
i am going to volunteer on election day because the stress is too much
if romney wins i might as well leave the damn country
NYT says Romney's chances have gone down to 14.5% now. The odds look good for Obama but still, anything could happen.
The fact that Romney has more than a 1% chance to rule the USA fucking terrifies me.
So where's the Electoral College tally? That's the only vote that matters, after all.

If Romney was running against Satan I would cast my vote for the legions of hell. At least demons are awesome.
