Very excited to see where this goes - I loved Human Revolution.
Interesting that Jensen's back. Don't get me wrong, I really liked his character but isn't this the first time that a protagonist has returned (as the protagonist) in a Deus Ex game?

Proper announcement tomorrow probably. Get hyped.
The fidelity is/was fine. The animations are entirely the issue.
When you saw character faces up close, especially during conversations, they were pretty hideous.
I think HR's gameplay was really fun but the story was a bit eh, and your input doesn't really matter, the story is quite linear. The original has exceeds HR in a couple of ways.
After just playing through the original, I think the original is much better than HR.
I loved HR didn't care all that much about the original.
I keep meaning to play the original but uuughh it's so dated that it's really hard to get into. I futz around Liberty Island but it doesn't grab me and I just quit after a bit.
If anything, I hope they make murder mode more viable. In HR stealth and nonlethal always gave more exp, so you'd be actively harming yourself if you didn't play the game that way. I hope that's at least somewhat evened out.
I hope they rework melee. Being able to punch twice before needing to eat candy bars was annoying, and the lack of something as simple as being able to ram enemies with the butt of your gun made the final "zombie" level incredibly annoying.
These graphics looks so fucking slick as fuck.
I don't even think my computer will be able to run that.

According to machine translation of that russian leak, you can fire your blades at people.
Like Deus Ex: Human Revolution before it, players can choose stealth or open-fire play styles. AI enemies are more intelligent this time around and will be more difficult. They travel in groups and if they suspect something is wrong, they’ll call over their buddies to help explore the map’s dark corners.
Sounds good, I didn't like how even if you went loud and gunned down several guards the alert would eventually die down and they'd forget you if you hid in a corner long enough.
The blade Adam donned in the previous game receives an alternate form of attack in Mankind Divided, as he is now able to shoot it from a crossbow.
exciting
Details on the game’s story are currently unknown, and saves from the previous game have no effect. The four endings of Human Revolution are non-canon, according to the website. Which means that certain characters in Human Revolution that died / could have been saved are replaced in Mankind Divided.
hmm
this is a really weird hope but I hope Adam flips his sunglasses up more
he does it once in Human Revolution and it's really humanizing at that moment
They should have just used the Sarif or Taggart ending. I wonder how much of DX:HR is now moot because they overwrote a part of the game.
Fuckin' glorious, can't wait for this!
Super stoked, HR was so good and i really love the Crysis styled weapon customization.
To me, it was the most logical step. Good on them for adopting it.
Wow, haven't been hyped for a game in ages. Finally something to get me excited

I hope he ditches the glasses, I thought they looked stupid as fuck.
I hope he ditches the glasses, I thought they looked stupid as fuck.
His design is nearly unchanged. It's different, but in the way how superhero costumes are slightly different from movie to move.
It means you have to buy a whole new action figure now.

they're not too bad
not as bad as the harvesters
I realise you can't say much from those screenshots, but they look fairly gun & action focused, don't they?
To be honest, so did the previous promotional media for HR at first, then they showed off the stealth stuff because its easier to show it in video media than screenshots.
I hope he ditches the glasses, I thought they looked stupid as fuck.
I hope they don't, its a rather distinctive part of Adam's design plus I thought the glasses acted as his HUD.
I don't think anyone should be worried about action focused screenshots considering the first game marketed itself that way, it's just to appeal to a wide audience, guarantee it'll be stealth focused like the first game
Trying to have a firefight in HR is a great way to get yourself killed 90% of the time

Really reminds me of the cinematic trailer of HR

the story is much better but like most older games it lacks a grab in the beginning
I know it's unrealistic, but I hope an early build gets leaked again or they at least release a killer demo, the original leak was one of my biggest factors in buying the game.
I hope he ditches the glasses, I thought they looked stupid as fuck.
haha fuck right off, they look cool as shit
Not enough orange
director's cut removes the yellow hue
Really? I never actually had a problem with it. Any way to bring it back?

really cool how the lamps make a pair of wings. I hope they play with more religious motifs like that
HR was my favourite game of 2011, I really hope this one does well. The screens looks amazing
hopefully this one leads directly into the beginning of the original deus ex
Kind of sad they didn't do a full blown sequel ala DX into DX:HR but at the same time DX:HR was so good that I kind of dont mind them retreading the same character and narrative grounds to refine it even more.

desktop backround material right there.
I'm so excited for tomorrow. Sucks that I won't be able to check it out until two hours after
[sp]It's probably going to just be the most common option picked. Darrow's ending + Malik's death being canon and all.[/sp]
When I first played the game I didn't realize you could save [sp]Malik[/sp] so when I realized you could I was like "You know what? No!" and I replayed the entire game because of it. Worth it.
This game will be good.
More Adam! Yay, thought we were done with him but I wanted to see more of him.
