More Adam! Yay, thought we were done with him but I wanted to see more of him.
Adam is legit one of my favorite gaming characters.
And the graphical improvement is astonishing: [t]https://analogaddiction.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/deus-ex-human-revolution-adam-jensen.jpg[/t][t]http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2015/15/1428435040-deus-ex-mankind-divided-screen-1.jpg[/t]
I hope they made some serious animation improvements. I loved DXHR but wow the facial animations and animations in general were really unacceptable for a game with so much dialogue.
Im getting so damn hype and its not even official
It was so cool when I was looking up Adam's personal info in HR and found out he has the same birth date as me, down to the same year.
Eh, not a big fan of them reusing Jensen as the protagonist. I liked him well enough in Human Revolution but would have preferred a new protagonist. Maybe have Jensen return as a major NPC similar to how JC returned for Invisible War?
I don't really have a problem with them reusing Jensen, he's a great character and I can see why they want to show him again for the fans.
Deus ex Invisible Division

[sp]lol if you don't rip off your shirt and start gunning down every single shithead firing at the boobee plane[/sp]
[sp]lol @ not tazing and tranqing them[/sp]
DX:HR lacked melee weapons that could be used instead of relying on your battery. And make getting extra batteries not useless.
I may be willing to pre-order this.
[sp]It's probably going to just be the most common option picked. Darrow's ending + Malik's death being canon and all.[/sp]
eeeeeh, probably another ending to bring it more in line with the original Deus Ex.
Hooooly shit.
Those screenshots look amazing. I can't wait for this.
Count me hyped. I remember it said however that this new engine is using a sharpening filter ala The Witcher 2. Hope these gorgeous visuals are more than that.
And the graphical improvement is astonishing:
Honestly, this looks like either a bullshot or concept art.
That said, DX:HR ticked all the boxes for me, including graphics. Hope they can pull it off again.
I'm excited for the possibility that it will do more to tie the original game and Human Revolution together.
I really liked HR as its own game, but it wasn't much of a DX prequel stylistically or story-wise.

let's hope they fix the skyboxes too
because damn
Adam again?
Disappointing

I'm pretty sure that's concept art...
I don't think its concept art but it is def a "bullshot" i.e. an image made from assets being used but super touched up and staged, and the models are likely not optimized for game usage yet. AKA, the models are likely running at full "rendering a CG video" quality, not running in a quality where the game can smoothly run in real time
The game will likely look a bit worse than that either for performance or gameplay reasons
i really hope the cutscenes arent compressed to fuck and back like in HR
I really hope the cutscenes aren't prerendered bullshit again. Nothing is more annoying than seeing this great looking environment and then it just turns into drab shiny metal because the actual game does not have those lighting effects.

Every NPC you interact with uses the exact same animation loop for talking.

Is it really hard to believe they've got an engine to push the limits?
Is it really hard to believe they've got an engine to push the limits?
A lot of that image looks like it's been painted, but maybe I'm just not used to seeing an environment with that amount of detail rendered in realtime, in-engine. Really hoping it's a screenshot.
Looks plausible to me, the question is what sort of specs it took to render that.

The same got said about HR when the first screens came out.
is the trailer releasing today?
this is a really weird hope but I hope Adam flips his sunglasses up more
he does it once in Human Revolution and it's really humanizing at that moment
Imo it was important that it only happened rarely, that's what gave it so much impact and drew attention to the scene when story writers needed it.
Sounds good, I enjoyed HR but at the same time I thought there were a few things that needed fixing. I'm not the only one who got sick of spending half the time chewing on energy bars like a starving diabetic, right?

I always just let the first battery recharge before doing something and hoarded energy bars for when I needed a big boost to cloak for days or something like that.
are we getting a awesome trailer with bad ass adam voice, insane visuals and a mind blowing music today?
I know this is late but again, you need to go back and try to force yourself through it.
Looking back at that one post about not caring for the original, and seeing all of those agrees, they're missing the whole point and I'm not sure they've bothered to even take a look on Youtube.
Yeah it's ugly, it was like that when it came out.
Stop looking at it that way, appreciate all the freedom and get through Liberty Island and then totally forget about it for the rest of the game, and then look at all of the options that are available to you right from the get-go.
Look at the augs and the level design where you may not even see entire areas in levels and the routes actually change in major ways based on what your configuration is and then look at what HR did and didn't do.
It's funny to me because looks aside people that enjoyed HR would definitely enjoy the original too if they'd just get through the starting levels like up to battery park.
Human Revolution was literally a simplified take on the first one, with less replay value.
Once you hit Hong Kong in DX1 you will not stop playing, guaranteed.

If McCann is doing the music again then I fucking hope so.

Shits going down on the stream. Caught it too late, some doctor I presume asking him about his augs if they hurt.
