When it comes out, go to the theaters and drag them (by the ears) to a TV playing the original. Help them save their childhood, time, and money.
Parents aren't like they used to be. If they were, they would be showing this generation of children(born after 2000) the original. It won "Parent's Choice" for a reason. I'm not even sure that's an award handed out to movies anymore. I will do my best to inform anyone I know who hasn't seen the original to see it, and if they come up with excuses, I'll gladly lend them a copy of mine.

I'll try to do the same thing, although I lack a copy of the movie. I need to get it, because I feel the need to watch it again. It's really kind of odd, because when I hear of remakes coming out/being made, I have the urge to watch the original movie instead.

I was very upset when I heard about this a few days ago. This was and continues to be my favorite children's movie. I just hope the reboot isn't too bad. I'd really feel bad if a generation of children got the wrong impression of BLT.
I used to have it on VHS until the tape broke :(
Hey guess what, I have the Brave Little Toaster on DVD

As much as I will hate this, I will pay to go see it just because its my childhood
Fuuuuuck. I loved this movie. Glad I'm not the only one.

I think I still have it on VHS somewhere, I just have to ask my lass where she put my VHS player and all my tapes.
I have mixed feelings about this. I hope if Disney publishes this movie, they at least apply quality control to it.
Also, I am only OK with the iphone if it is during the worthless scene, showing how much we are willing to throw electronics away.
The sad thing is these old movies could really do with a remastering and rerelease.

Hell, if it came out in a Blu-Ray 3 pack with those 2 sequels, I'd buy them.
I wonder if the master will be modern as well, like an emo kid or something.
Next up, The Iron Giant in glorious 3D featuring the android robot as the Giant himself
Holy fucking shit
I totally forgot this movie existed
I used to LOVE this as a kid - I distinctly remember all the characters from it immediately after seeing that still in the OP. Never even knew it was called that.
while I don't support the rehashing of ideas into new presentation, I guarantee you that these movies will probably be looked on by the kids of today as their childhood, that and the shit on cartoon network etc.
Obviously their movies have been popular so far or they wouldn't have kept doing these. And if they're popular they sell, and if they sell they sell. Whether we like it or not.
