slutty hawkgirl pls
While DC does tend to fuck up a lot of their live action movies, their animated series and even movies tend to be top notch. I'd say much better than marvel's.
Definitely. I can't say much about the comics as I've only read the batman comics up until knightfall starting from Year One, but their animation(and arkham series video games) are fucking incredible. They manage to make their TV shows incredibly mature within the confines of still being technically kids shows
Man I loved the Justice League, I'm interested.
At the same time?
Poor phrasing. Kevin Conroy as Batman, Tim Daly as Superman, Michael Rosenbaum as Flash.
I wish DCAU would continue though. There never has been the answer on Darkseid and Luthor's fate.
I also wish it continued past the Bat Embargo that banned most Batman characters from appearing in JLU due to Batman Begins. I mean I know Batman stuff was already over represented in the DCAU, but it wouldn't hurt to have like one Joker episode in JLU, or at least delve more into the juicy past or framework for Batman Beyond. Also the Ras Al Ghul 2009 doomsday thing mentioned in Batman Beyond and JLU episode set in the future, there were possible plans to make an episode or direct to DVD on that.
What are you trying to say. Because this is a thread for the DC Cartoons and you're mentioning Marvel in the film sense and DC in what I'm assuming to be the movie sense? And if that's true its fucking weird
i'm just pointing out the common theme for DC is dark. its not fucking weird at all that i mention DC works as a whole since they kinda are perceived as a whole
More Brave and the Bold, please.
Not sure i like the idea of heroes doing darker/sinister things but more of the lines where people do die on screen and beaten to an absolute pulp. Kind of like assault on arkham.
Not the future. It was an alternate timeline/universe where the JL decided to enact a new world order (ala. Injustice: Gods Among Us) after the Flash was shotgun'd by President Lex Luthor. I think the darkest episode has got to be the one where Superman goes 1,000+ into the future and seeing that Vandal Savage was successful in destroying the world. I wish DCAU would continue though. There never has been the answer on Darkseid and Luthor's fate.
I think some of the best and darkest episodes were with alt universe batman set out to destroy all existance, the one with alt timelines made by savage, where batman got caught up in them as well. Another really goo dc show was young justice. Still the one I kindaa did like the most was brave and the bold. Was way more comedic but utterly great.
if its to the quality of young justice i'm game
the one with alt timelines made by savage
My god, that one episode with Superman being thrown into the future and meeting Savage and the time machine.
I hope it gets a kickass theme song like Unlimited.
Bruce Timm working on a new Justice League series/mini-series? I'm on board. Big time. Yes. But if you really want to tickle me, bring back Young Justice.
More Brave and the Bold, please.
I loved The Brave and the Bold, but it ran its course. The last episode did the whole series justice and gave it closure.
With all this mention of Young Justice, I wish they would now give us the third season instead of leaving us on a cliffhanger :(
