Awww, most of the fun from Bound in Blood was that it took place in the Wild West. It was a CoD clone, but damnit it taking place in the Wild West made it really fun. I'd have a Wild West-era revolver and level action rifles over yet another DEagle and tactical M4 anyday. ;(
I remember the time i showed Call of Juarez 2 to a friend, he was like "Call of... Juarez?!? hahaha" And then he loved it.

How the hell was CoJ a Call of Duty clone? The only thing it had in common was that it was a first person shooter with ironsights. That's all.

Fucking dumb. Keep it western, not generic modern shooter #50000001
I have the first one but I never bothered to play it, is it worth it?
Not really. The first level only had the brothers fighting in the civil war for the north, but then they turn into deserters and nothing else actually takes place in the war.
they were fighting for the south

Not exactly a clone, but it did have a few elements from it, such as being pretty damn scripted and linear as hell.
Worst development of a series ever.

CoD isn't the only heavily scripted game you know.
Don't actually play/see anything of the game before judging it kids.
Well it could be good, we can't really judge it yet.

Call of Duty
Middle guy looks pretty cool, I hope he's gonna be the one shouting out random verses from the bible while shooting bad guys.
This might either be really shitty, or actually good.
I still have my hopes up.
I chuckled hard when I first heard this.

You still haven't played it, or seen gameplay of it. You proved nothing.
Whatever happened to, "Don't judge a book by it's cover"?

oh man look at the characters i totally have grounds to call it a shitty game now
oh mann.. i see a helicopter this is obviously gonna be a generic war shooter...
I have the first one but I never bothered to play it, is it worth it?
imo I thought it was a really good game
This actaully sounds interesting, it's midern, of course, BUT IT'S NOT A MODERN WARSHOOTER.
It's like GTA as FPS, it seems.
I think this might be good, it all depends on how they do it though. If they make a Call of Duty clone I won't buy it. From the looks of it, it's probably going to be some sort of gang related story instead of a military based one like Call of Duty, so please stop comparing them. FPS game set in present time =/= Call of Duty.
It's a pretty stupid change but they could make it good. If they manage to succeed in giving a modern setting a wild west feeling it could be very interesting.
Call of Dut- I mean Juarez: Modern Bathroom
Haha, this can't be real. :v:
This is the stupidest fucking decision for a game I have ever seen.
Like are you god damned kidding me? This series was my last fucking hope for old West video gaming.

Oregon Trail: FPS edition.

call of duty

Bound in blood was awesome, and haven't ubisoft learned from the success of RDR that COWBOY GAMES ARE GREAT AND SELL WELL?

this is a joke right
CoD started as a WW2 game series, then decided to go "modern"
CoJ now does the same. It's now the Wild West, it's the Modern West....
Two data points does not a trend make.
