The thing about piracy is that it fucks me over, a [I]legitimate, paying[/I] customer who supports developers. Because of piracy wankers, I get DRM by the shitload and an increasing lack of support for my platform of choice.

It's not the same as when thousands of people download the game illegally though. Out of them, a lot of people would have bought it if it wasn't for the opportunity to get it for free. That's a lost sale.
