Oh, he isn't dead and he is most likely slightly more traumatized than a child who's dog died.
[editline]01:12PM[/editline]
Oh, well as long as somebody somewhere was more traumatized, I guess it's okay.
I just think it is interesting that people tend to care more about animals than people.
And you are comparing a police officer removing a perceived threat to a mother stabbing her son, pushing him down a flight of stairs, stabbing him more, then leaving him for dead.
You're the one who brought it up.
yeah I agree that shooting the dogs was a bit over the top, but it's really not something you'd get your pennies in a bunch, and you don't know for a fact that the children were traumatized.
That's not even the point. A dog in a cage had no reason to be shot.

I think you make that assumption because there are more people posting in this thread when really if someone such as yourself began defending what the mother had done then surely there would be plenty of uproar.
And no, YOU are comparing a "police officer removing a perceived threat to a mother stabbing her son, pushing him down a flight of stairs, stabbing him more, then leaving him for dead"
I think Mingebox and I are on the same page
I don't give a shit about Children/Babies, that's why. In fact If I had to choose over any dog I know or a human I don't I'd probably choose the Dog.
Damn police shot that man's best friend. :Dawkins102:

Not helping, broski.
Not helping, broski.
Don't care, Rudeboi.
Poor dogs :( And is it necessary the send a fucking SWAT squad for a guy who has a gram of weed?
OH FUCK MAN THIS DOG MIGHT PROVE A MINOR INCONVENIENCE TO US, LET'S JUST KILL HIM RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW
/caps
Poor dogs :( And is it necessary the send a fucking SWAT squad for a guy who has a gram of weed?
yeah, they're dangerous criminals and it's only safe to send to the SWAT team
:downs:
unnecessary violence
welcome to the war on drugs
weed kills
but not directly
If the creatures weren't dogs but snakes or spiders, hardly anyone would care about it. The problem is clearly not that the family loved their pets. It's that we do.
What the fuck are they doing? Those assholes!
And you can even hear the dog barking. Or more like squealing.
I can see why he did it. The people keep guard dogs around all the time, and there have been a few officers who were attacked by a dog that was let out of it's cage. It's a damn shame, but knowing why an officer could be that jumpy as to shoot the dog when he saw it kind of brings light to the whole thing. Still a damn shame though.
I think it's terrible what happened, but after reading up on the Drug fighting in Columbia, I can see why he did it.
Columbia, Missouri
Poor dogs :( And is it necessary the send a fucking SWAT squad for a guy who has a gram of weed?
They thought it was a big time drug house, not a guy with 1 gram.
Columbia, Missouri
No shit :D
Point's still the same though, i'l edit it to make it sound less confusing.
They were serving a high risk warrant, and they were well within their rights to shoot the pit bull if it even looked like it was trying to escape the cage to get at them. They were entering not knowing if they would be fired on by the suspect, and for the sake of efficiency, killing the dogs was in the best interest of the search.
Quit trying to fucking justify it. The dogs were fucking caged. He had absolutely no reason to shoot them. You're an idiot.
"Best interest of the search." Because a dog in a cage is a real fucking obstacle, isn't it?
No shit :D
thought you were confusing it with colombia like the other guy did.

No, I like reading the story before I shout stuff.
w+m1 cop
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the police state.
If I was that guy I'd punch the cop in the head and take the assault charges. Fuck him. If someone killed my dog I'd be in rage mode
They should sue the cop.
Guess what SWAT team doesn't see enough action so when they finally get to do something they go all gung ho?
Wonder how much your mind has to change to be able to shoot a caged dog
SERVIN DA POLICE FOR THE WAR ON DRUGS

And then you'd get shot
Seems understandable, what if it was going to try and bite them?
