Even if it was exaggerated to be a dick, I'd say two weeks is pushing excessively long jail time. Six months is absolutely 100% ludicrous.

He should of been kicked out of the court, and given a warning for purposely disrupting the court. The jail sentence is too excessive.

Seriously, any jail time for this is ridiculous. Just remove him from the premises. Jail for contempt should only be used if someone who is compelled to testify refuses, or someone argues with the judge's sentence or something serious like that.
