I hope they bring back Republic Commando and 1313. Gritty Star Wars is something we do not have enough of.
Didnt Obsidian pitch the idea of an RPG between episode 3 and 4? They should do that with EA.
Kotor 3 please god and ignore the retarded canon the mmo spewed out

I never played TOR, and I've heard the canon is bad, but, I'm scared to even ask. What happened to Revan?
If they even attempted to make a new Jedi Knight game they'd probably fuck it up so bad you'd have people saying they'd rather not have a new Jedi Knight game.
The painful thing is that EA's developers can make excellent games, or at least great games still. It's just that EA's business practices are downright stupid and they mess with their developers a lot, making some rather obnoxious decisions that affect consumers all over.
Jedi Knight 3. With motion controller support.
Make it happen, please.

Woobified. Became a shitty human male with a terrible plot line.
I want a classic style Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight game. I've only ever played the JK series on PC, I don't know how I'd feel playing it with motion control and all that. I just want my ASDW and mouse.
I want my Star Wars Kinect dancing EA!
I respect EA just a little bit for this.
I think it would be neat if they made a game like Oblivion or Fallout 3, but set in the Star Wars universe.

An open-world post-apocalyptic Star Wars game set on Taris would be incredible. According to the lore most of the planet is still bombed-out ruins even 4,000 years after this happens, so it'd definitely be plausible story-wise. There'd even be Ghouls, in the form of the, eh, rakghouls.
Downside: EA
Upside: "Will Not Make Games Based on the New Trilogy Movies"
I would like a new Jedi Knight/Dark Forces, but they probably wouldn't do it right.
Dark Forces and DF2 were really dark games for star wars, and all DF/JK games, especially Jedi Knight 1 had ridiculously creative level design and a lot of vertical gameplay that you just don't see in modern shooters, along with really elaborate set pieces built directly into gameplay instead of cutscenes.
There was literally an entire level that had you running through a heavily slanted ship as it falls to the bottom of a canyon to try and make your way to your tiny ship to survive. You have a limited amount of time, boxes are sliding around crushing people, and if you look out the window you can see it falling, all of this was done in gameplay instead of a cutscene - and the likelihood of any creative setpieces actually being gameplay instead of a cutscene in a new JK game are slim to none.
That being said a new JK game with a cutting model like metal gear rising for the lightsabers would be amazing.

Most of the fun from JKII was from the Quake Engine's mediocre physics combined with the ability to jump fifteen meters in the air. I'd like another game that did that stuff.
Another serious RPG from Bioware would be nice. As long as they avoid making it too much like SWTOR.
It would be interesting to see something more fast paced, like a combination of Dragon Age or even Mass Effect.
Imagine Mass Effect multiplayer with Star Wars characters/weapons/force powers.
this doesn't sound bad, especially if they want to avoid doing cheapo movie tie-ins
DICE battlefront 3 will be pretty good since it shouldn't have any competing game to rush against for release (cough) and having a smaller group of developers working under EA may mean shared resources and higher quality work down the line. Yeah it's 10 years and that's a huge chunk of time by gaming standards but I have high hopes here
Whats event better, is the DICE team working on BF3 is from their Main Studio, not one of the branches.
Fine, just do 1313
Wasn't that canned and ended up as a movie engine demo? :v:
