Plot Twist. The NSA is the one leaking the pictures...
when shit like /r/picsofdeadkids exists, most likely not.
As long as its not /r/picsofdeadcelebkids, no one gives a shit
Theres a video of (apparently) aubery plaza which was censoreded in a previous leak. I tried to go back and find it but it was taken down.
Get ready for the 1000's of people about to flood this thread.
sweet, now I can finally talk about masturbating over private pictures of celebs with my facepunch mates!
Once again, none of them are Zooey Deschanel. She's a pure maiden Bobie confirmed for having his slut waifu leaked
If we truly stand by the concept of a internet with privacy and no surveillance we need to stop supporting this stuff. Anyone who thinks that we need a free internet but then jacking off to these hacked celeb nudes are hypocrites
So you do not see a difference between people not understanding how to secure their accounts and goverment intelligence agencies monitoring all traffic in the internet, by raw packet analysis? Not that I am saying this thing is moral, but having weak passwords/recovery options and goverment agencies analyzing all traffic and making big companies hand over your information (files, transactions, location, everything they can) are totally different things.
It just feels like there's some general hypocrisy going on with these celeb nude leaks. I cant say what the hackers stances on the subject matter is. But we all know most of anyone using the internet supports a free internet. Yet with the last celeb nude leak we got like 30+ pages of people rating winners and drooling over the pics. I cannot deny human sexuality is a strong force, but we need to reinforce our stance and show to the world that privacy is a very important matter for us and say to the hackers "no more, we want equal privacy"
You're confusing a lot of terms I think Most people here want a "free internet", and by that they mean no censorship, websites like TPB should not be blocked, and no ISP should be able to charge more to access certain websites. And then privacy, which has a lot of meanings to a lot of different people, and that's the issue. Hackers will always try to get into things, either for monetary gain, or publicity, or simply to get celeb nudes, it has and will always be that way. As a fairly vocal privacy person, I'm primarily against the NSA going out of it's way to breach network security, to put backdoors inside encryption, and tap fiber lines. But a hacker, or a small group of them getting into a few people's phone, or guessing their password / security question is VERY different from that; I know I'm going to get accused of victim blaming, but we don't live in a perfect world, we live in a world where having password as your password is a terrible idea, and that's most often how people have gotten these nudes. I'm for the ability of one to say "don't track me" and "Encrypt all my data" and freedom to HAVE privacy, but right now the ownness is on people to secure their data and make sure nobody can get to it. If you're sending nudes, get the person you're sending them to set up a PGP key, encrypt all the photos you send to them, get encrypted chat protocols like XMPP/Jabber to communicate on; there are a ton of things that can be done to ensure at least basic privacy (if not also from the NSA) is there.

These people see us wanting privacy, but then they see us cheering when someones privacy is violated. We need to stop that, we want to look good to the people around us. Instead of making people think we support the hackers actions, we need to show them the hackers are just a bunch of creeps that we dont want to associate with. and 6000+ people viewing the thread really wont help our cause (not that WE can do anything about that anyway)
So it begins, again... This is going to be entertaining
Damn JLaw too horny for her own good.
I think the most incredible thing about this is the amount of pictures getting stolen and released at basically the same time. Not that I agree with it, but it's pretty interesting - who's doing this?

Would you hand tens of pictures of you naked to some random service offering you free storage on their servers? Well if you would then you need to accept the thougth that this service can have security breach, or your account can be compromised by your own mistake and whoops every private thing you had is private no more. We need free internet, but we also need people to understand how to protect their privacy by not making theese stupid mistakes.
Is this that time again being against leaking stuff doesn't mean that we can fap to already leaked stuff
Okay, I don't support this at all, but... Why does Jennifer Lawrence have SO MANY.
Yeah, but trurly free internet WILL have leaks like that, or people hacking into someone's account, because of the basic principle of the free internet, nobody controlling it and thus nobody to protect you from your own errors other than the services built-in security. What I mean is that this sorta stuff is perfect ammunition for politicians wanting more control over the internet. They could argue "With more control we could track down these hackers and protect your privacy". This is excellent if you want to reel in people for support. If we all would condemn it and not give it more than a raised eyebrow in reaction, these potentials will die off meaning we could get to keep a more open and free internet where hackers are viewed as creeps that nobody wants to deal with. We still cant stop them from doing their thing, but not giving them the attention they are trying to create we could help ourselves stay free from monitoring.
Is this that time again being against leaking stuff doesn't mean that we can fap to already leaked stuff
arguably a victimless crime although preference philosophy would dictate that jennifer lawrence probably wouldn't want me fapping to her nudes though she's never met me, so I can't say
Okay, I don't support this at all, but... Why does Jennifer Lawrence have SO MANY.
Obviously has a high sex drive and enjoys the D from time to time. Actually makes her more attractive considering I barely knew who she was before.
Damn JLaw too horny for her own good.
I have no complaints.
